Sujet : Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

Someone posted a video on youtube of their own gameplay footage. They were lucky enough to get the game 10 days early because the store that they went to put the game out on the shelves earlier than the release date. Wish I could be that lucky.

Indeed. i still have to wait until the near end of March. On the other hand, I would've finished it by tommorow morning. But now I still have an whole adventure left to uncover! emoji

too bad you can't just order it from the u.s. when it comes out next week

I could, PS3 is regiofree. But these are some expensive months for me. I can not take the risk of paying and about €30 for shipping and possibly €50 extra for stupid tax -.-

ya, I understand that feeling, kind of in a financial rut myself, slowly getting a little work here and there and now income tax season has rolled around, making things worse. pretty sad, been out of college almost 2 years and still end up working only part time.

Oh, I have way less worse. I just have to save money for a Game Convention and Koninginnedag. emoji

This Game is very good emoji
But , my favourite game of Sly Cooper is the three in Playstation Two emoji

I have to say that I'm not happy with the ending. Who knows if they are actually gonna be able to make Sly 5?

I have to agree with you - I heard that because of very poor advertising, game didn't sell well. But I must say it was great. Treasures and masks add a big replay value. Even plot wasn't that bad (I was affraid they are going to just reveal all the secrets about Clockwerk and Sly's father), althrough I don't like how things went with

"The Black Knight". For me, Sanzaru just didn't have any other idea for a shocking plot twist than turning a good friend into one the greatest villains in the series.

And the humor was also pretty bad for me. There wasn't actually a moment that made me really laugh (I love Sly's obsession over italian food in one of the missions in Sly 3 - irronicly in Sly 4 there was TOO MUCH about food, since somehow Murray lell in love with it). The game's still awesome and I hope they'll release Sly 5 anyway emoji

Oh… I actually hoped for the Clockwerk and Sly's father stuff. I really expected it, so when it didn't come I was kinda dissapointed. Probably also plans for a sequel, that nodobdy knows of it it might come. I thought we had to be happy with one more Sly games that concluded everything. That also made me dissapointed in the plot overall. It wasn't really like Sly. In the first there is gettinh back the pages from the Fiendish Five. In 2 its destoying the Clockwerk part for once and for all. And in 3 they must find a way to open the Cooper Vault. And 4? Oh, some skunk wants revenge. The time traveling was cool, but it was thé moment for the Sly's father and Clockwerk action.

And I miss Penelope already. Why do the Dutch people always have to go rogue emoji

It sound like I hated the game, but I don't. It just dissapointed me at many points. It still looked great and just how a PS3 Sly should look like. Though it caused some lag in some stages. And killing some enemies to remove some polys unfortunately didn't really work. The overall gameplay was very strong and playing as the Ancestors was also really cool. But it felt more like a Sly 1 to me than a Sly 2 or 3. Those slideshows with Bentley that tells you all sort of different missions that in the end will fit together wasn't really there. It was mostly platforming work.

Well, I said the plot was OK, but sure it's the worst in the series. I really hate how time travel works - putting an object from the era emoji I wonder what would happen if I put 100 year old picture with one year old border into Benley's time machine :oui: Also, Sanzaru kinda ruined characters - Sly is just talking too much, Murray's too much obsessed with food, Carmelita is even more nervous and of course "you know who". And what was the point of putting Dimitri into the game. It's like they wanyed him "just to be there". As for the gameplay, it was definitly platformer, but it took everything good about Sly 2 and 3, so for me, it was perfect. And Clockwerk… for me, revealing the truth about Clockwerk will close series once and for all. Clockwer and Sly's father mystery is one of the pillars of Sly Cooper franchise.

I guess I'm a little too panoria about it. My favorite franchise, the StarFox franchise, at the moment is like a book with the last few chapters ripped out. I just want that to ever happen to the Sly franchise. The books needs an ending. emoji
