Sujet : Uncharted 3

CoD just didn't have much of a wow factor. There were not moments where I was like "holy crap! How is Mason gonna get out of this one?" instead it was "oh, so I'm kidnapped, what a shame" and instead of "WHOA! I have never seen that before!" it was "oh great, they're Vietnamese now…"

I mean, at least in Resistance you get some awesome weaponry, and the setting is something completely out of this world (but on it?)
CoD is just WWII done up with a wee bit of a twist that to me was a let down… I mean seriously, a dangerous, poisonous gas! Like we don't already have dangerous poisonous gasses?
Even know the story is somewhat similar to that of Killzone 3 (which I LOVE!) It's too straightforward and complicated. At least I could understand the story to Killzone 3 first go, CoD BO took a number of playthroughs, to understand just what was going on.

I did however think it was okay, not exactly terrible, the story may have stunk, but I did play it for about two weeks before getting completely sick of it.

I know you've played Black Ops though the Modern warfare series is better.. especially on multiplayer.. The MW series is kinda like the Resistance and Killzone series winded up in one. On Black ops, It's worth playing the multiplayer version more… Just cause that it's more better than the story mode…

I don't play any games for multiplayer (I did for LittleBigPlanet for a little while though… well still kinda do in a way) for the one reason that I'm rubbish at it. Resistance: Fall of Man TERRIBLE, Resistance 2 TERRIBLE, Killzone 2 & 3 I AM GUESSING I'M TERRIBLE and top of the pile is CoD: BO ABSOLUTELY DISMAL.
Resistance 3, I'm all right though?

And no offence, but I don't really see many similarities between Killzone and Resistance and CoD.
Killzone is the human race hundreds and hundreds of years into the future, when space travel is not all that hard, but Earth's resources are quite low, so sometime after a third world war a group of people went off to some other Utopia and took control, calling it Vektor, but they disconnected from the rest of thier kind, and started getting really evil. So the ISA (or something simmilar) kicked them off that planet and forced them to live on some less-friendly planet. Few hundred years later the evils (the Helghast) got pissed off, and rose up against the ISA, and attacked Vekta. After a fail, the ISA attacks Helghan (Helghast planet) and some serious (futuristic) stuff goes down…

Resistance is on Earth in an alternate history, where some Alien virus has stuffed up Europe pretty bad. And then eventually becomes a global catastrophe, killing and converting MILLIONS (or billions, IDK what the population was like back then) then some survivors rise up against the Chimera in an attempt to destroy them once and for all! Like Killzone there is out-of-this-world technology, and some pretty mean Insomniac-style weapons!

Then there is CoD, set maybe a couble of years in the future. Technology is more of the same, we aren't planet hoping all over the galaxy, and we sure as hell aren't being threatened by Aliens. No its terrorists! (just like in real life) but they have a secret! And it's up to (Insert name here) to stop them.

Gameplay wise they are all more of the same to me. Resistance: Fall of Man was really different from everything else, and Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 work pretty similar, and Killzone has this feel to it, which has yet to be matched by another game.

BTW: I played MW1

EDIT:
I was comparing the Modern Warfare series with Resistance and Killzone, The only thing they pretty much have in common is Their tech and weapons… I wasn't really comparing their storyline though…

Oh, I see… well I've only played MW1, so I can't say really. (I don't actually remember MW1 that much though… It has the marker thing going on like Killzone I think?

In my opinion, Black Ops doesn't have that.. Gameplay from Killzone and Resistance, regarding that both Killzone and Resistance have that.. "Outta the world tech" Unlike Black Ops..

it all takes practice,i know exactly what your going through,it seems like i can NEVER LEARN ANYTHING ABOUT SKILL but you get better, you just don't notice,it's just the optional things that are hard, like Sniping or Aiming

I know that feeling, but occasionally persistance pays off. When you score highest in your team, come near the top on deathmatch, or just get a kill:death ratio that is better than 1:2… that's a great feeling.
Then next game I'm utterly dismal and think 'what happened' emoji

Well I'm not a competitive sorta person, sometimes I might actually be winning even (in R&C:UYA Locally) and I find it miserable.
I just don't like it, which makes me automatically bad at it.

No Idea why I was so good at Resistance 3, and found that quite fun?

It's not a lot of fun if you are dominating the game, or someone else seems invincible. Especially if the opposing team stands by the spawn point. But I just run round plugging away at anything that moves and enjoy myself.emoji
Splitscreen is good cos then you and your mate can laugh at each other and have a bit of a joke.
It's gotta have a bit of a challenge to it, but I was mostly talking about when you finish and get to the scoreboard and realise how well you did (or not).

Yea… when I go into a competitive mode, it gets competitive. Playing splitscreen that is. Every time I manage to do something wrong (or my friend does something wrong) someone gets offended, and the loser gets pissed off… It just doesn't (…or didn't?) work very well with me.

Yeah it gets like that sometimes, but generally I'm either taken out by someone (which happens to everyone) or I do something so ludicrous even I'm amazed. Like I've just detonated my own grenade in my face, walked backwards off a ledge, backflipped off the edge, blasted a team mate whilst my opponent is behind me etc. But I have real trouble picking up multiplayer trophies because of it.
If I'm playing with some mates then I tend to fixate on spreading one guy across the landscape, which is where it gets competitive. It also makes for an easy target for everyone else, cos I tend to ignore them. Unintentionally

I've got it. But I've only played through it once or twice. That's a I've got.

I've only played through it once.
