Sujet : What would you do to improve the next R&C games?

Here's a thread to discuss ideas that you think would make the game after FFA better (assuming there's no thread for that already). So, I've got an idea.
Making Ratchet somewhat different during the final boss, like a new form or armour that would change the atmosphere of the game (kinda like how Sonic turns into Super Sonic in all the final bosses recently), that would make the final boss not just another boss, but something that would differ from the rest of the games.

In the first place that they go back to the origin of R&C and make Ratchet like the Future style again.

But besides that, small things like being able to switch back to an earlier armour, but keep the powers of the one you have atm. Like in Gladiator. emoji

Ratchet25, I think I know what you're trying to say. Like in R&C, R&C:UYA and R&C:SM. Have you do it as Giant Clank, or in a hovership, or something like that.

I would like to see the final locations test the players skills in all areas of gameplay, like having a grindrail like the one in the Great Clock, and fight through hordes of enemies like in Going Commando. And in the bosses have some sort of twist that makes it more than just a large enemy with a visible health bar.

I'd also like to see more gadgets, like what we got in the first three games and Tools of Destruction. In ACiT there were some cool gadgets, but there were only 4 gadgets. (though they were pretty major) I feel A4O did the gadgets quite well, considering how the game worked.

I would have what you can do in Size matters with Armour, i think its good that you can change different parts like gloves, helmets, ect

I would like for the armour to be changeable, but not each piece. I would like for you to be able to swap back to previous sets (like skins) but if you swap back you are less protected, and can't take as much damage.

In Size Matters, I thought all the mixed sets looked really ugly in comparison to the full sets, that's why I would like to change the whole set, rather than pieces.

Preety much like that yeah, the RYNO 6 from A4O KINDA does that (seeing as you get the last part right before the final boss), but it is not that diferent from normal gameplay to fullfill a new twist to the final boss.

True, but well over half the people that play A4O won't have the RYNO for that battle.

Idd, the bosses háve to change! I think their annoyoing, the worst is the giant ProtoPet from GC. Man, I spend hours on that the first time. It already takes ages before yer finally half way done, but then - oh, yeah. Here is comes - that last second after the cutscene it sends you back to the game itself for a sec. At that point I got hit and had to start over. There is still a crack in my TV ;P

Stealth team operation (I'll call it STO emoji ). Example:

Ratchet is walking through the city (undercover of course), when he meet the gigant closed door (even RYNO can't help). Camera changes to Agent Zurkon (my idea emoji ). You must fly throgh the ventilation shaft to find the computer room, and open the door. In a meanwhile, a patrol of soldiers is walking toward Ratchet. Gadgetbots (player) must somehow stop them. When they do, Ratchet can continue his walk.

I don't say the whole game should be like that, just a 2-4 missions and some online multiplayer mode. It could of course use some more or other characters (like Clank or Qwark), and gadgets like Tyrraguise. It's just my idea.

Seeing as how IG seem to want to make R&C multiplayer atm, I'd kinda like it if they could do what they did with resistance 2.
A single player campaign, like R&C used to have, and a mini multiplayer co-op side campaign, which was still relevent but didn't have to be played to follow the main story. (Hope that makes sense)

Otherwise I'd like them to return to the Future style graphics and maybe Trilogy style gameplay. And upgradeable/modifyable weapons like they had in ToD.

I know some people will want to wear the Classic Ratchet clothes, so I'd insert those as a skin.
I might probably get more ideas, but that's all I have for now.

So that when you're done with the Bolts etc. you can do the story again without having to first face the final bosses again.
