Sorry but I have to disagree.
FFA has the best controls in an R&C game to date. An aiming mode is much better than simply strafing and having Ratchet lock-on the enemies, hover boots being set to the trigger buttons is much better than having to go out of your way to press a button on the D-Pad and having access to the weapon wheel while still controlling your character was a very good idea.
Also, FFA doesn't have a call, sprint or lock-on button, so I don't see how its controls were copy pasted from A4O.

Okay, I didn't crear it - control sheme is indeed the best one in the series, I meant the way they moved, jumped (higher than with helipack…emoji, attacked and didn't grab 99% of ledges.

darkstar, i disagree: any time I wanted to shoot at an enemy in front of me, the player automatically fires backward as if it was in lockstrafe mode. Another downside to into the nexus as well emoji

That's why you turn the camera.
I honestly don't understand people who have this problem. As a gamer when you have control over the camera in a 3D game your first instinct should always be to move the camera to the back of your character. Not only that but in this game turning the camera is incredibly fast.

Nothing… But they were terrible anyway! As for the controls, it's just that the characters movements felt less natural than in the previous games… I gotta admit I like the new shoot/strafe controls from past two games though.

It's not really that they're stiff, it's just the 30FPS and he way the characters are animated visually tricking you into thinking they are.

Maybe… Or maybe it's because of the characters design. Either way, it didn't work as good with the classic camera as it worked with A4O.
