Just to clarify, the SURPRISE is a completely different thing to the BONUS
The surprise is going to be worldwide, everyone will get it as long as they preorder. While the Bonus is a little something extra for the US people that have to wait, while it isn't as big as this very hyped surprise (Insomniac seem pretty sure this is going to be unmissable for any fan of the PS2 R&C games) Insomniac claim it's worth the wait.

Preordering doesn't usually cost extra, but you might have to pay after ordering if you want it sent to your mailbox instead of picking it up from the shop on the date of release.
i experienced the thing that when preordering All 4 One Special Edition it had the same price as the normal version. but on the relase date it changed the price to 17 dollar..
And i got it one day before the original releease date.. Unfornately the codes didn't work before the actual release date…
I'm hoping it's a special old school Ratchet statue or something physical 
Do you guys think Sony would let IG add a statue with the game???
I think that's way to huge…
But they might add minigames psmove minigames…
or some other extras… maybe a new bonus level…

Well unfortunately I can't read Japanese, but at the IG forums, everyone is pretty sure it's going to be DLC. Which means it's not with the game…

I really hope it's DLC for the HD collection instead of a downloadable PS2 game, as those aren't upgraded to HD.
