Ratchet and Clank are finally taking a break after their latest adventures. The incredible duo are on Veldin, packing their bags to go on vacation on planet Pokitaru. The planet's water is finally crystal clear, the sun is shining 24 (Pokitaruian) hours a day and the Jowaii resort is finally open for everyone who needs a break from hassle and bustle of everyday life.
The intergalactic TV is on. Ratchet and Clank are looking forward to watching their favourite show. While changing the channels, Clank's bionic eye took notice of breaking news on one of the channels.
"Ratchet wait, I think I noticed something", he said.
They watched the news program.
This is Darla Gratch reporting live from Silver city, where an invasion of some wild, extraterrestrial species is taking place at the moment. After breaking into several apartments from the city's large buildings and houses, they're stealing anything that is made out of precious metals like gold, platinum and titanium. Right now there's a robbery in the local bank and the intruders are harvesting large amounts of bolts, but, oddly enough, they avoid stealing credit cards and bolt bills. This leads the investigators to the conclusion that they only need the metal from the planets of this galaxy, sounding an alarm to the robot citizens of this and other planets. Darla Gratch, channel 64 news.
"Well, it seems vacation is over before it even started...", Ratchet said disappointed.
"This is not surprising. The longest vacation we have ever gone to lasted two Obani days, or seven Veldin Hours.", Clank noticed.
"Alright then, time to engage the gravimetric warp drive again...", Ratchet said while walking towards his ship.
It seems a new adventure for the duo has begun. Will they manage to beat the new evil that arrived? Stay tuned to find out the answer.
