Sujet : Nintendo 3DS

Is officially awesome, no doubt about that.

Boosting an analogue stick, 3d screen, accelerometer (like the tilt technology in the iPhone) and awesome graphics, this will be one beautiful piece of gaming technology when it's released.

It can also play 3d movies, although only the top screen is 3d. Avatar anyone? :P
Also, only the bottom screen is touch screen, but that's ok because all the other awesome stuff more than makes up for that, although the lack of a GBA slot will be quite annoying (one of the reasons I didn't get a DSi). I guess backwards compatibility isn't as important anymore.
Oh, and as if that wasn't enough, IT CAN TAKE 3D PHOTOS. Lol, apparently it has 3 cameras.


This will be one expensive baby though, I can tell you that much :P

Unless it has any good games then sorry, I'm not buying the 3D gimmick, and since all the games for the 3DS, as well as almost all the future titles, are yet more N64 remakes then I wont be buying it. Impressive tech from a company who lost their minds over a decade ago.

Insomniac Games will never do such a thing I hope :P

I'm not really sure about getting it neither but it does sound cool though, but there is no games on it that interest me at the moment, so most likely not :p unless something changes my mind later, heh.

Nintendo have always made their handhelds systems strong and well presented for consumers to buy and I like the fact that there will be some games that will be Remade for the 3DS such as Star Fox 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Those who haven't played the original versions will have the chance to play the game on this handheld device.

Would I actually get the 3Ds? Probably not, just because I am not the type of gamer that plays many handheld systems. The 3Ds is cool I have to admit, but I am not dying to get it right away.

I'm still stuck with my good ol' metallic indigo DSlite! but as Melazzee mentioned, i would miss the GBA slot. "I payed $30 for pokemon Emerald and i want to play it with my gameshark without trying to shove it into a plastic cover where a slot no longer EXISTS!" will i get the 3ds? no. not too many interesting games, and im still fine with my n64 (because it has CONKER!) sega genesis and any other system above taht time era (because i have all of em- and of course i saved my atari!) and i think the companies are going a little wacko with all the motion and touch technology… that's why the playstation has been my favorite until now. however the eyetoy was cool! I loved the ape escape game for it. but i wont be getting the 3DS, or most of the newer systems (unless 4th gen ipods count, im want it because im stuck wit dumb gen 2!) so no way im getting this system unless it goes real cheap (which wont happen) or if someone gives it to me (which also wont happen) so thats my semi- ontopic review ish opinion.

Well the handheld just came out, so I bet not too many people here will have the 3DS at the moment.

Does it record or play video? Because I’ve hade a DS Lite and a Dsi and they don’t play or record video (well duh, a DS Lite doesn’t have a camera).
