Sujet : Your Favourite Disney Films

I know probably not everyone here is into Disney films, but I bet that all of us here have seen at least one Animated Disney movie. For those who are still into animated films (especially the classic feature films), name your favourite films of all times… or ones that you've enjoyed the most?

My favourites are the following…

- Beauty and the Beast
- Hunchback of Notre Dame
- Aladdin
- The Lion King
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
- Sleeping Beauty
- Fantasia
- Mulan
- The Great Mouse Detective
- Robin Hood
- A Goofy Movie
- The Jungle Book
- Cinderella
- Lady and the Tramp
- Fun and Fancy Free
- The Three Caballeros
- The Princess and the Frog
- The Brave Little Toaster (it's sort of Disney, so why not?)

Usually I wouldn't add Pixar films into the list since I think anything by that company to have it's own list (even if they are part of Disney). But if I had too, I would choose the following films.

- The Toy Story Trilogy
- Finding Nemo
- Monsters Inc.
- Up

may fave disney movies are.

- The Lion King
- Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs
- Beauty And The Beast
- Fantasia (never saw the sequel of it yet so I wouldn't know if it's good or not)
- Robin Hood
- The Hunchback of Notre Dame (I hated the sequel for this movie not as great as the first one belive me)
- Sleeping Beauty
- Pete's Dragon
- Lady And The Tramp (same reason as the hunchback of notre dame sequel)
- The Fox And The Hound (same reason as the hunchback of notre dame sequel)
- Cinderella (never saw the sequels for that movie and I hope to keep it that way)
- Basil The Great Mouse Detective
- Brother Bear (same reason as the hunchback of notre dame sequel)
- Tarzan (never saw the sequel to it yet)
- 101 Dalmations
- The Rescuers
- The Rescuers: Downunder
- Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command (what? I thought it's funny from start to finish emoji )

that's all I can think of so far I'll update if I remember some more.

Hmm I've grown up watching the Disney animated features… I may not like much Disney these days (well not too much anyways) But I still have my favourites…

The Lion King (yeah, Im a sucker for that one too XD)
Lady and the Tramp
Disney's Tarzan
101 Dalmations
Brother Bear
The Jungle Book
The Fox and the Hound
The rescuers: Downunder

And there's more, just gotta think of the rest later on XD (along with the Pixar ones)

I'm not really much of a Disney fan, but I do really like The Lion King (in fact, it's one of my favourite films of all time)

As for Disney Pixar films, I really enjoyed The Incredibles and Cars, though to be fair all of the ones I've seen have been really good.

I think majourity of people who have grew up with Disney will find the latest creations to be a complete waste of garbage, except if it's something unexpected that makes it like the classic Disney times such as Princess and the Frog or maybe even Toy Story 3.

So yeah, I am not a fan of recent Disney either (especially the Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers fads and trash out there), but I still do appreciate the classics, where the magic is stored in those animated features, or even cartoon classics… or maybe live-action classics like Mary Poppins or Old Yeller.

I am a huge fan of Disney and all their old animated films. I hate the junk they bring out nowadays however, such as High School Musical and Hannah Montana. What happened to the Golden Age of Disney? emoji

Walt Disney is probably turning in his grave :P

It died and became a huge company… always thinking about making money only. For Shame… emoji

I blame Eisner for this, although there could be others that have turned Disney into tweeny pointless trash. emoji

I find that Disney back then was all about family. Films and features that contained laughs, cries and even meaningful lessons (like in some animated features), something for everyone really. But it seems like it's all about the kids and pre-teens only, making entertainment too obnoxious and even spoiled for these generation of kids. Hate to say it that way, but that's how I see most of the recent Disney content these days.

You might as well re-watch the 2D feature films or just wait til Epic Mickey comes out to stick with the Disney Classics. :oui:

Ah, my childhood!
