Drek was the beginning of awesome villians in RandC and he had some epic cutscenes like Novalis infobot lol. But he was too irritable. he was like those grumpy tiny ppl u see on tv where he is as funny as he is evil. therefore i feel like nefarious, drek isnt EVIL just bad…..and as for the whole HES ALIVE stuff i rly doubt that he survived slamming into a planet.
Drek was a very evil villain, kill entire other planets just to build a perfect one himself, on top of polluting his previous planet, and he's planning the same. I mean even though its all fiction the pain he would've inflicted on the people would be horrific.
In my opinion the fact he did it for BOLTS aka MONEY and only MONEY makes him even more evil, and realistic, i mean people these days are so greedy, so to create a game where the villain aka bad guy is an in-human, selfish evil money addicted psycho is a great way to warn youngsters about the big scary world xD

yeah sorry about that, however the game is 10 years old, i suspect everyone on this forum knows the ending anyway.

True but before the collection came out there were people who didn't play the PS2 games like Red Dragon.
When playing R&C1 for the first time I remember saying something along the lines of "TJIS, this is why I love R&C. Look at that villain! He's not your typical 'I am evil, I do evil stuff, I have a bomb, I'll set it off' no it's 'look at me, I'm going to screw all your planets, and build my own perfect world, and if you don't like it you can take your whiny, snivelling, snot-nosed populations, form a line behind me and kiss my-'"
You get the idea? He's cool, in his own way, he's evil, he funny, and he's different. Still even today I can say Ratchet & Clank do crazy stuff, that I could never have imagined (Qwark in R&C2 was just… just… AWESOME! Never saw it coming. (even know I had already played R&C3 and R&C1))
Nah i disagree i think hes one of the worst villians i thought Dr nefarious and Captain Qwark were ten times better

Drek was a great villain, but he's not my favourite. He had some cool lines but I prefer neffy and tachyon. Neffy cos he goes completely o.t.t and tachyon I find hysterical.
Even though Drek was pretty evil, he's not my fave villian. It HAS got to be DR Nefarious, he's really funny (Especially Lance and Janice moments!:rire2 and the fact his palns allways fail is comedy itself. Tachyon was just downright dull, evil but boring, there were very few funny moments with tachyon. (Too serious)
I think Vendra is also part of the best vilains of the serie. It's just a shame this
character isn't more developed in Ratchet and Clank : Into The Nexus. I
suppose she'll come back in a future Ratchet and Clank game, who knows ?
I love Nefarious and his funny moments, too. Who doesn't, really? But I liked it that Tachyon had those serious moments. He is a personal enemy for Ratchet, being he is the one that tried to wipe out the Lombaxes, killed Ratchet's parents, and in the midst of this offered Ratchet a way to the Lombaxes. This, to me, makes him an interesting villain. He practically initiates all of the games really. If it wren't for him, Ratchet would not have been sent to the Solana galaxy, befriended Clank, saved the galaxies from Drek, Qwark, Nefarious and so on.
Vendra also had a interesting appeal to her as a character and a villain. I wish she had more "villain time" though. I like strong enemies that can get into your head and have too extent some supernatural power, especially if it's a woman. ha
I can also see her coming back later in the series.
Although Neffy is a very funny character and not really ment to seem very serious or intimidating I did actually find him quite scary in Ratchet and Clank 3 seeing as I was only five years old.
