Sujet : Moments That Got You Teary-Eyed

Membre supprimé

Were there any moments in movies, TV programs and games that made you shed a tear? You can be honest, nobody is going to judge you.

NOTE: Make sure to add SPOILER TAGS since some people might not want to get spoiled by films, games and tv shows they haven't played or watched.

Okay I'll start.

Final Fantasy 7

Aries death. When Cloud placed her into the water and let her go is where the waterworks started to come out.

Kingdom Hearts

The ending. I don't if it was just the over enjoyment of beating the game or that Sora and Kairi got seperated is where I started to cry

Marley and Me

When Marely dies.

My Dog Skip

When Skip passes away on Willie's bed.

Titanic

From the people drowning in the titanic to the ending is where a few tears started to come out.

Edward Scissorhands

The ending. Seeing Eward making ice sculptures for the girl who he couldn't see ever again just made me cry like a baby.

Fullmetal Alchemist

I think I cried most at the last episode just because it was just presented beautifully with an unexpected open plot. Sure the plot was solved in Conquer of Shambala, but the film didn't felt as heart warming as the TV series was.

Chrono Crusade

1. The death of Satella. When Azmaria was singing to her before she passed on really got me heading to the tissue box right away.

2. The death of Chrono and Rosette. I was mostly shocked and emotional when two main characters were killed off in the show. But then again, if you watch the series carefully, you knew one of them was going to pass away.

The Lion King

Mufassa's death.

those are the ones that I can think of right now, but I'm sure there are a few more moments that got me upset. I knew there were a lot of moments that almost made me cried, but not entirely, which I might mention those later.

Passion of the Christ. Game over. I was weeping during the entire thing, mind you I hardly ever cry. Pretty tough nut when it comes to that, but that movie didn't let me sleep.

I seriously doubt that I would cry at Passions of the Christ. It's basically the story of Jesus, which has been done already. This is what happens when you were raised as a Catholic and you heard the story of Jesus' death so many times.

If there were scenes that felt quite disturbing or the chords of the music felt epically touching, then maybe there could be a chance that I might shed a tear over that, but with seeing Jesus dying on the cross is probably I wouldn't cry like a baby.

True it, but I'm not the Catholic that is blind.

I mean, yeah, I cried the first time I was weeping. The second and third, I was shedding a slight tear. There's only really two things in this world that can bring me down that much to make me cry, granted it isn't a movie.

I cried at "The Passion of the Christ" also.

and… come to think of it, there's rarely been I movie I've cried over. If I think of some I will just delete/update this post.

one time i cried as i wrote my own chapter book, not to be self absorbed.

This is a pretty bad one. Pokemon just makes me emotional- that is before the anime got SUPER lame.

Pokemon Heroes- the movie: Latios and Latias

I cried when Latios did sightsharing after he died and you saw him slowly leave the planet- the part where he became the new soul dew- and at the part where it seemed like he shouted to latias: "I love you!" before charging into the tsunami.

basicly latios has a way to get to me…

Electric Soldier Porygon! *Note that this was sad to me more due to the fact that this episode caused seizures for almost 800 epileptic kids across japan due to flashing lights that went fast and was not released in america and was banned worldwide. but what really irkens me is that they thought banning my favorite pokemon of all time and all his evolutions (PORYGON) from the anime would resolve the problem-! Why? HOW would that help ANYONE?!*

I cried when I saw team rocket ready to be destroyed with the proto- porygon because i love them as characters

Saru Getchu On Air (Ape Escape Anime)

I cried when i thjought that specter destroyed the Pipotron Trio and they said final words as the screen went snowy and they're robot got blasted to light, because i thought they were really dead… but they werent. Becuase i would not be able to live without little Pipotron Blue.

thats my list for now. emoji i know but i was four months younger when these events occurred to me. emoji should i follow my friends advice and grow up? emoji

It's funny where almost all the things you mentioned Tipys (besides for a few being I never watched/played them or I did but never got tear eyed once)also are the same things that made me cry XD

But to add a few

Toy Story 3

The ending where Addy give his toys to Bonnie. It was a very bittersweet ending, but more happy than anything. Also, if you grew up watching the first two TS films, the ending had way more of an impact on you. Also, the movie touches a subject that I think not many kids understand such as growing up. I think most of use on the forums who are over 18 know how it is being kid and then an adult. Big changes.

UP

The montage of Carl and his wife. Seriously, I cried like a baby at that part, and it was at the beginning of the film! Srsly, Pixar never lets me down when it comes to emotions XD

I have more, but I'll leave you with only these two for now.

I am wondering how I forgot that one. I freakin' love Toy Stroy, when I heard TS3 was coming out I planned out the movie trip. I swear that if anybody got in my way I was going to flip out.

That moment in Toy Story 3 almost did made me cry, but no tears never came out (I could never cry in public or with friends). Let's just say that scene did made me felt emotionally touched, just like with the ending of Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64. Strange how a cartoony M-rated title with red squirrels, cursing and poop could make you feel upset, but it showed emotion…

in the ending. After when Conker said his epic dramatic dialogue, the music while the credits were rolling did made you felt sorry for the little guy, especially the loss of his girlfriend Berry.

As for Up, I was surprised to see that montage of Carl and his wife right at the beginning of the film too. Once again, I didn't cry in this film either. I am not shallow and heartless when I say this and there were some touching moments in Up, it just didn't really made me fully pulled my heartstrings throughout.

I almost got teary-eyed when I watched Season 1 finale of the TV show Sonic X when

Sonic had to go back to his homeworld after he defeated Dr. Eggman.

It was the battle between Sonic and Dr. Eggman was intense, and when I watched it, I was sort of prepared to be teary-eyed because it's the end, no more of their crazy adventures. Then I was happy when the second season started a year later. I was 12 when I watched the season 1 finale!

Oh yes I got kinda tearful on that one years ago. It was the japanese version though. It was more heartfelt and had the perfect touch of music.

There is one part in the fantasy novel The Hobbit that made me feel sad:

The part when Thorin dies, it's to much for me to cover but if you read the book or watch the cartoon you will understand what i'm talking about
