Sujet : Reading thread

Everybody knows this one
I found it on a flea market after I saw the movie. I finished it about 2 days ago and I think it's great. It has some more character then the movie does. But sometimes… there are words I've never heard off and sentences that aren't translated thát great. But the story itself, beautiful. I just started with the sequel: Hannibal. Great movie, now how about the book?

Silence of the Lambs (translated into 'Scream of the Lamb'. What?)


Also another book that I love very much.
It's a great thriller that should get a motion picture. The complicated story of 2 woman. A homicide detective and someone who kidnapped a baby and ‘killed’ her boyfriend who wanted to kill it. One of the better books from my own country. Believe me, they are hard to find.

I also like the Stephanie Plum Thrillers a lot. But further, I don’t read that much. Unless I’m forced too :P

I love The Hichhikers Guide to the Galaxy. who's with me? I also like the Bourne books, the CHERUB series, Alex Rider, Artemis Fowl, Ender's Game, and Eragon. That's all I can think of now! I'll probably add more.

Yay! Another Hitchikers fan. Although I preferred the radio series, the books were brilliant too.
I tend to read sci-fi, fantasy and some factual books, generally natural world or physicsy/techie stuff.
Also into Eragon, Artemis Fowl, Terry Pratchett, Anne McCaffery and David Attenborough books. Oh, and 1984, but that was depressing at the end .

Any book that I was forced to read, re-read then analyse at school was hated. We had to read To Kill a Mockingbird, it was okay on the first read through but after that I totally lost interest.

The radio series was very good. The movie wasn't that great. I just finished the last book in The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. It was amazing! It's better than the title makes it sound…

I don't read many books, I normmaly read Manga or Comic Books, now I'm reading Naruto Shippuden Issue 33.
