Sujet : Your Favourite Fighting Games

Which fighting games do you like to play?

Since there are a whole bunch of game franchises from this genre (just like RPGs), I'm sure a lot of us had played at least one fighting title.

Well here are the ones I've enjoyed playing the most, which were:

Super Smash Bros. (I'm one of those people that enjoyed the original the most)
Soul Calibur 2 (Weapon Choice Mode made this game worth playing)
Mortal Kombat trilogy for the SegaGenesis (Gotta try the New MK game one day)

Not too crazy about fighting games in general, but I do find them fun when you play them with other people.

yes it is and that's alright not everyone plays it

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by fighting games… I assume it means games where you shoot the living heck outta everything in sight and fry those who hate your existance (inFAMOUS)
my favourate games along those lines are the Resistance series and the inFAMOUS series (only played the first)

Fighting games is a genre where there's usually (if not always) one-on-one fights, so yeah shooters and action games are not fighting games.

The only Fighting games that i remember playing are: Tekken series, Tom & Jerry: War of the Whiskers and the Versus mode in Star Wars Episode 3.

Like what IceLombax said. Pick games that you've played where on-screen characters fight each other in combat. The ones I've mentioned earlier are good example of what a fighting game is.

Other examples of this genre are Marvel v.s. Capcom, Fatal Fury and the very well known Street Fighter.

Therefore, Resistance and Infamous aren't fighting genre games.

oh! I see! Yea i know what ya mean… Though i have never… ever… played a fighting game LOL i don't play many different types of games
