We've heard from many interviews with the developers from Insomniac Games that their style influences for Ratchet and Clank are certain animated feature films, programming and short classics. The Looney Tunes is an example of being a big influenced for the Ratchet and Clank games.

The point of this thread are your theories and opinions about the similarities between The Looney Tunes and Ratchet and Clank. Were there moments, characters or anything else from R&C that reminded you of the Looney Tunes in some way? I'm sure we'd grew up with Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird and the rest of the gang during our childhood to remember these classic characters and moments.

I know I could have mention this in the Similarities in the Ratchet and Clank thread, but I wanted this topic to have it's own thread since I'm sure people have many theories and ideas between these two categories. But anyways, let's get started.

I've realized why everyone seems to love Ratchet so much. Ratchet is definitely a character people look up to with his smart allic charm and being the main attraction in a franchise. Does this remind you of Bugs Bunny in any way?

Yeah, I went there sister! I think Ratchet and Bugs Bunny seem similar by their role in the series they start in, but not too much in appearance of course. These two basically represent the person who we really want to be and its written all over both of them. Also, I do find both these characters to have pretty laid back personalities.

Ah, yes, I have noticed similarties between the Looney Tunes and Ratchet and Clank. Starting off, it's humor. Ratchet and Clank and Looney Tunes are somewhat known for having mature and crude humor that always gives people a laugh. Does this scene remind you of something from Looney Tunes by the way?

EDIT: Oh, and let's not forget this one, which is actually my profile picture.

That's a good example there by the way. It's seems the pause in air before falling down a high cliff have been shown quite frequently in the later Ratchet games.

How about the whole drag gags that both franchises show?

Plus we've seen Qwark dressed up as a woman twice in Up Your Arsenal. One in the Qwark Vid-Comics disguising himself as a pizza delivery waitress. The other in the scene where he's calling for a taxi at the Crash Site in a woman's disguise.

Now here Bugs Bunny in many female outfits… emoji

I could go on with Bugs dressing up as a lady, but that would take forever to do.
