Sujet : Ratchet & Clank Movie?

Speaking of VHS. I got something pretty unique here. A portable VHS player. Its like a mini tv with a build-in screen. I used to take it with me during car drives to the south when I was a kid. Watched them all… The Land Before Time (1-9), Space Jam, Toy Story. Ill take a picture some time.

Before I read where you said you might take a picture I had already decided to ask you if you could. I want to see this thing. Have there really been 9 of The Land Before Time movies? And I've heard something about that they are making a Space Jam 2.

9 on VHS. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 on DVD. emoji

But sure, I'll take a picture. Today emoji

They have made their deals with local distributors - hope that means they will finally give us a proper trailer.

I don't use instagram, so was that just a picture of James or a video? I ask because Kubak said "He almost did it." So I'm confused. Or I just haven't read far back enough…

It was a joke video where James Arnlod Taylor tried to give us a peek at the movie's script, but was stopped by TJ and other crew members.

Here you go. Used to have this thing on my lap or either packed in pillows or something. Can't remember how we used to do that anymore.

Here you can put the VHS in. Though I couldn't open it because it isn't powered up.

Like… there's no twitter at all?

Edit: Watched it. First, I had no idea what's his name. AND I totally missed his voice… no way I could realize it's Ratchet's… when I did, I watched it again.

Not to get off the movie topic but I've never seen one of those before. But I like it though. The days when we used VHS tapes regularly do not feel like they were that long ago to me. If you had to go back to putting that in your lap again I believe you could at ease, since you were use to it before. Now the much younger people would be funny to watch trying to use it.

Just about that last part and a little off-topic, but Space Jam 2 was confirmed untrue.

I think that handing just the VHS tape would be enough to give the new generation some new questions. Actually… I was at a fleamarket and this kid and her mother wanted to buy a GameCube. The kid asked what those wires in the controller were for. emoji

That's scary. But it reminds me of in "Back to the Future Part II", which is of course famous for predicting a bunch of things that clearly aren't going to have happened by next year, such as flying cars etc; the one thing they did predict correctly was apparently the XBox Kinnect, as Marty goes into a diner in 2015 that's filled with memorabilia from 1985, including an arcade machine with a light-gun, and these kids are trying to figure out how to play the game, and Marty comes along and shows them how to use the light-gun and the kids say "You have to use your hands?? It's like a baby's toy". emoji

Though speaking of VHS and suchlike, I've been doing some work experience at a primary school recently - helping five-year-olds learn to use computers, and one of the lessons we had was teaching them how to search for pictures on Google Images; as an example of pictures to search for, we searched "Penguins", and one of the kids found a picture of the penguins from the film "Madagascar", and she said "I have that film on DVD", and I thought "DVD?? You're five! You should still be using video!" Then I realised my mistake and felt old. emoji

Remember how much of a pain it was to record stuff to the VHS?

Oh my gawd, yes! It was horrible.. now its just one click of a button and it goes to the harddrive.

Nope. I never found it very hard at all, we recorded a lot of stuff.

Never been like 'Oh, darn. Its still recording' or 'what tape can I overwrite'?

Or "crap, recorded the commercial".
