This just came to me. At the end of deadlocked, it hinted that he may return. Question is, if he does, whens it gonna happen?

I can agree with you about the Vox's pet. It was TOO cute to be a villains' pet by me.
But let's don't forget that all cute pets are good! I've got the intuition that always tolds me what's good and what's bad. I think it's just a gift from God.

Well Ratchet hadn't been given much to eat at Dreadzone, and I don't think he would like the custard Qwark made as it was Qwark who made it… I'd choose Sluga over Qwark's custard any day.
So Sluga couldn't be evil right? Even after all the very obvious hints at this pet being very hateful much like Vox. Every time Vox started to develop plans to hurt Ratchet Sluga would get really happy and excited. When Vox talked of helping Ratchet it would have this expression of disbelief on it's face. Play the game again and watch Sluga closely… you'll see what I mean.
Neffy begins work on a 3rd biobliterator, and finds vox's arm floating through space and recognisez it from the tv show. So he uses the new bliterater on it to reanimate a cyborg vox. They discover that they both have beef with ratchet and team up. That's my prediction.
