You know, we're all complaining about the animation in ItN, but they did add a few subtle things:
Ratchet's ears twitch, showing his frustration…
That was bad and I should feel bad.

Animators see the animation. When I animate I like to go past every single frame and tweak it when neccisary to make the nicest looking animation possible. Then I play the animation over and over and over to make sure there are no mistakes. So my best guess is time, the biggest enemy of a game designer.
I'm not saying that the animation is all bad in Nexus. Just that there are some small things that could easily have been fixed.
I said that some of the animation was well done. This particular cutscene is one of the good ones.

No, JAT appeared much later. He reffered to the fact that new Ratchet & Clank games are worse that the previous ones… I didn't get that joke either.

Because it's a CGI animation with unreal characters that resemble animals… either that or there's an R&C voice actor somewhere in that scene…
