I gotta say I like Sargasso more as well, for the mentioned reasons. Sorry Animovie, you're alone so far emoji

I STAND UP!
With Animovie.

You like Torren IV better than Sargasso?!

The point is I can't make a decision (you guys keep confusing me). I just don't want Ani to feel alone emoji

I'm pretty sure now that you've said that he feels even more alone…

I never said Sargasso is better!

I thought Zordoom made a pretty good red texture world. I'm surpirsed that you think Sargasso looks better than ANY of ACIT's worlds. Even Darkstar might not agree on that!

Somewhat.
In terms of lighting and just the way things look ACiT takes the cake.
In terms of design, shape, position and all that stuff ToD is much better.

Animovie Ratchet is not alone. I understand his point of view, because I too am not a huge Sargasso fan. But I think it has a lot to do with the type of planet it is (a farming planet) and the colour scheme.

Although I accept that dinosaur platforms were cool, and the level layout was pretty nice, with a few surprises here and there. But I just am not a huge fan of grinding levels, seeing as how I always play levels to 100% on the first visit (you'd think arenas would catch this sort of playstyle up, but really, they don't). I don't know, I'm starting to think the positives outweigh the negatives, but really I haven't been able to find all that many planets in ToD with negative points anyway (Fastoon don't count).

What's all this stuff about Zordoom and Reepor looking bad? I loved the colour schemes for those planets. How often do we get genuinely dark planets? That would be a cool thing for the Gemlick Moon Base's remake!

And on the subject of Torren IV. You all make very valid points, but I just loved the visuals of that level so much! Although I was admitably extremely underwhelmed by the amount of enemies, and weak platforming in the level, so it is definitely the second worst planet in ACiT to me. I just really don't like Vapedia… which is strange because it did have the best hoverbooting/puzzles in the game. I guess it just felt like it should have been earlier in the game for its overall looks.

In torren iv, the lack of enemies make up for HUGE weapon upgrade boosts.

Yeah. I actually upgraded twice on one enemmy.

(But that was probably just a glitch)

Correction: The upgrade boosts make up for the lack of enemies.
Then again, Koros does that much better because there's a ton of enemies and they also give you a huge upgrade boost.

Upgrade bars had different…"functions" in ps2 and ps3s. Destroying an enemy would upgrade a weapon in the ps2's, but just shooting at an enemy gets upgrade in the ps3's.

Most enemies in Koros die in 1 hit anyway.
EDIT: Koros also had better music… and the Shark-a-gator.

Shark-a-gator? o.O
