Well, the reason I said that was because some lasers can blind you if directed in the eye. Maybe not those ones, but when I went out to the gun range, those laser sights can blind. At least they wear protective goggles.

The guns at my party centre only showed the laser when you fired. But I'm sure they minimized power of the laser ortherwise you probably wouldn't be allowed to use it like a 'weapon'.

And I don't think my glasses could defend my eyes from the lasers emoji

Oh, chances are you wouldn't be wearing them. You would definitely have protection goggles over your face, and maybe over you glasses. The same rule applies to firing a rifle or glock: safety first.

What about Paintball, have any of you played that?

I went once with school. My history teacher shot me in the face, that stuff hurts! After that I switched to defense and lay down in some high grass. Nobody found me. emoji

Only shooting practice. Oh, you camper! emoji. You should go sniping or ambush some people when doing that

That stuff hurt! But I was 'guarding' our flag. Suddenly I hear some guys scream; ''There, in the grass'' ''Look, someone's here''. So I hear shooting and I try to shoot back cause I thought they spotted me. Turn out my gym teacher was there too and she was shot trice, on her butt. emoji

Man, I wish I could do paintball! I bet they have a range around here in Texas!

Probably! I was in Belgium at the time, the Ardennes. emoji

Paintball in a historic place, eh?

Part of it anyway. T'was part of an excursion. Canoing, campfires, hiking, mountain bikes… I hated it. Not because of the activities though. We got to choose between a trip to the Ardennes or London. I made a poor choice. All my friends were in London and I was pretty much alone… well aside from all those lovely girly girls that didn't want to come anywhere near mud or water.

I quit my internship in Amsterdam a few days ago. It wasn't what it seemed. It's just 2 guys running a buisness they don't understand. Neither knows how game developement works and they hire 12 interns at once to 'make up for it'. Today was my first day at KeokeN Interactive in Hoofddorp (pretty close to Amsterdam). In a single day I learned more than the 6 months I spend on my old internship. So glad I switched!

It sucks to hear your previous internship was not so good. But it's great to hear your new one is really going well!

It also means I'm not gonna be around as often as before. Oh well, sacrifises must be made. :oui:

You're not the only one. I'm getting a job at Subway today, so I'll be off more than usual. But I'll still try to write news and make polls (if RB contacts me back).
