No, he had plenty of adventures between earning the dime and Klondike episode.

I was affraid of the dark until last year. Glad that chapter is done..
Imagine Ratchets glitch-face in the corner of the room, watching you in the dark, stalking you, seeing your every movement as you sleep, with his torn open eyes…

In the first game Ratchet and Clank did pratically nothing to stop Drek from extracting chunks of each planet he visited. All they did was destroy the finished product, which was a perfectly healthy and usable planet.

If the first game was re-made again today You'd probably end up all over his huge machines, sabotaging them.
