Well, I think Ratchet is too young for several things.

-Too young to work as a mechanic
-Too young to own weapons
-Too young to drive a ship
-And too young to become a soldier (GC)

Ah, I thought you ment visually.

Ratchet is definitely not too young to work as a mechanic. Age has nothing to do with what job/hobby you want to do. If in Ratchet & Clank flying a ship is like driving a car on Earth, then Ratchet could very well go for a license and be out and about in no time. I always thought he was probably around 16 (in Earth years) after all.

Too young to be a soldier? No, I doubt it. If we compare it to the real world again I am sure you only need to be about 17 or 18 years old to get into the army, so in Ratchet & Clank's universe (assuming he's as young as 16) he wouldn't meet the criteria. However I believe exceptions would be made for a company as evil as Megacorp. Which brings me on to the weapons thing. Weapons probably can't be handed out to anyone under the age of 18 (as hinted at by Slim in Aquatos), so we just have to assume that Gadgetron and Megacorp make exceptions for Ratchet because he's a hero. You could argue that in the first game Ratchet wasn't a proven hero, so we'll just roll with the idea that Ratchet lied about his age to get access to the cool weapons.

Uh, the RYNO is actually illegal, right?

Uh, the RYNO is actually illegal, right?

Well, in the first game, it was sold by the "shady saleman", so it can be assumed that it's a black market weapon, and in ToD, the description of the RYNO-4-Ever is:

"The RYNO 4-Ever had been declared a myth by the Galactic Society of Implausible Weapon Designs. Rumors had persisted on the Holo-Web that this upgrade to the R.Y.N.O IV was theoretically possible, but the subject was so controversial that merely mentioning it made a person become grounded for six months in an intergalactic penitentiary. If you heard any information about the RYNO 4-Ever, let alone encounter the actual weapon itself, you were advised to cover your eyes and ears and loudly hum show tunes of your choice. This weapon, should it even exist, was far too dangerous, illegal and downright gameplay destabilizing to ever be used. Ever. We mean it."

It's also said to be banned in eight galaxies.

Anyone here play Goat Simulator?

Gheh, no. I got a bunch of free codes for it, but I gave them all away.

Nope, but my friend said it's a fun game.

Fun? It's rediculous!emoji
The fact that a broken game sells… what's wrong with gamers.

Speaking of which, this happened to me the other day. I accidentally left the XYZ-Axis at the default instead of the Unreal Engine standard. I laughed so hard, everybody took pictures of my screen!

It's funnier when it's ''walking''

So glad I decided not to get into game animation. I wish I could upload my AM work, but there's probably a policy against that…

So, what can you make using that software? Sorry, I'm just not familiar with those kind of programs.

A walking animation of course, can't you tell? It's so obvious. *sarcastic voice emoji

I'd love to see them though ^^
I'm currently working on a few animations, just the little things we didn't get in the pack we purchased. Sitting idle, flipswitch etc.

Unreal is an game engine. Let's keep it simple: it's the collection of all the elements of the game. You create the levels in it, mechanics, lighting, everything. emoji

……………

We just finished the new trailer for our game btw. I'll share it when we release it ^^

I just got Rick Rolled… I will have my vengance Filip!
