Oh, I didn't know Finland implements mandatory military service. And what major do you take in university?

Ratchet and Clank Brave Wilderness! Trapped on Terralon, Ratchet and Clank must use their animal instincts to survive against Brik and his hunters!
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
Animation vs Youtube. This is the most clever thing ever!

I love the Taunter scene. So relateable!

I won a novel voucher and just received:
The Chemist - Stephanie Meyer
SW Rebel Rising - Beth Revis
And bam! SW Battlefront II: Inferno Squad - Christie Golden.
Only question is, what to read first?

Ha, and a fitting moment too!

I read somewhere that the original classical piece used as ACiT's RYNO song actually had cannons firing.
"So what instrument did you play?"
"A cannon."
"You're joking."
"No, I'm dead serious."

The original is actually a Russian song, yeah?
And I guess the RYNO counted for a cannon

Just went to Valerian and it was a-mazing!!
This is probably the most beautiful movie I've seen. So many alien races with interesting designs, Alexandre Desplait (New Moon) for the music, a great cast. I didn't like the casting at first, but ten minutes in and I was officialy a fan.
There's an overal plot, but more on the sidelines. It's predictable and doesn't hold secrets, yet it has a message and is memorable. But the heart of the movie is the chemistry between Valerian and Laureline! They cracked me up K-2SO style!

Glad someone liked it: I was going to see the movie, but then I read a review saying "it was worse than the star wars prequels and only services CGI fans–acting: terrible." So…maybe I should give it a watch?

Well, I thought it was really cool. Don't expect too much of the story though. As I said, it is quite simple and not too original (but still beautiful). It's a movie that should be enjoyed for its visuals.

Started reading the original comics too. Currently at Valerian and Laureline: Empire of a Thousand Planets. I'm just going to assume this one had the most influence on the movie. But maybe they just liked the title?
(Edit. Movie is definitely a mix of everything!)
