Sujet : Really Random thread

Nintendo's previous libraries of games have impressed me so little, that I am just thinking I can't get into any of their products. Although on the other hand I have a PS3, and plenty of PS3 games I want to play, but don't have the time/money to play. So looking at any other console right now would be a strange move, unless I want to play one a bunch of their games really bad!

Like for PS4 I want to play: Killzone: Shadow Fall, Ratchet & Clank, LittleBigPlanet 3, inFamous: Second Son, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. That's 5.5 games… but it still doesn't seem like enough to make me want a whole new system right now. Once the list has reached 8 or so, maybe I'll do it.

Really?
Because besides the lack of MGR, I'm perfectly fine with my PS3 library.

Then again, there's not really anything on PS4 I want right now.
Maybe I'll get a PS4 bundled wiht LBP3 (just to get it out of the way) and then pick up MGSV when it comes out.

My PS3/PSV (I forgot to mention I meant the Vita too) library has gotten to the point where I have every game I feel I need. But there are a couple of games I might want to try, or I feel are alright enough to purchase for a reduced price: Journey, Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, Gravity Rush, Sly Trilogy, LittleBigPlanet Karting, Borderlands 2, inFamous: Festival of Blood, Metal Gear Rising: Jetstream and Metal Gear Rising: Bladewolf.

But some of them, like Journey, and the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy I can easily hold out on buying indefinately

I'm surprised you don't have Fesival of Blood. It's got some pretty nifty powers TBH.

And you should get Modnation Racers instead of LBP Karting (assuming you don't have MR already), it's got much better online functionalities, racing mechanics and customization systems. Although I have to say that the karts in Karting are pretty cool.

I played Modnation on the Vita. And really I just love the maps, karts and LBP style (e.g. prize bubbles, interfaces and Sackboy). Although I am a bit let down by the customisation of your pod ad character. And whenever I'm playing online (or trying to) it just feels kinda off seeing Sackboy so locked into his kart. Why if there was a way to get out of it and have the best of both types of games, it would be a very worthy LBP3 emoji

But yea, it isn't a game I need, like the other LBP games. But I just think it would be kinda fun to have. And I don't see much point in having LBP Krting and Modnation, so I'd have to make a difficult decision, and I really dig the costumes, karts and worlds of LBP!

Judging Modnation by it's sequel on the Vita is like judging R&C by FFA.

It really depends on what you prefer.
Personally, if LBP Karting had Modnation's gameplay and customisation depth and wasn't simply a Mario Kart clone, I'd love it more than Modnation. Just because it's tracks aren't just a cartoony real world.

I know the loading time (and hopefully menu navigation) are vastly better on PS3, so I ignored those parts of it. But the environments didn't really feel as nice as LBP Karting. I kinda want one of 2 extremes (that aren't that extreme) LBPK or Jak X. I'm never playing Jak X again, but I'll acknowledge that it was fun. One point is that they are from familiar and likable franchises I got attached to as platformers, so came into them for the feels and story. But once I played them I liked the way they play enough that I could play them for fun… as long as I was borrowing them from someone else.

I'm not a huge karting/combat racing fan. And am certainly not a fan of normal NFS styled racing. I chose LBP over Modnation by a very small degree, mostly because of the look of the game. I mean it isn't a bad karting game by any means (as it apparently clones another more popular game), but it's that look and feel of it's worlds that give it that extra step for me.

I hear ya'.

As I said, worlds in Modnation are very bland and all, but it's he gameplay and sociability of the game that keeps me comming back (The Modspot was a very good idea which should've been in LBP Karting in some way shape or form). And while the story mode worlds are great, I can't imagine trying to replicate them in Create Mode. I also ike Modnation's though kid writing a bit more than LBP's charming and kid friendly writing (Although Battleblock Theater dessimates both of these writing styles).

But do you know what decimate originally meant?

But yea, the creating in LBP Karting is a bit difficult, and not nearly as precise as LBP1 and 2, but I could imagine that if I spent enough time with it, I would be able to master it and actually make something.

And creating tracks is great! I mean the closest I came to making racetracks in games before was Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver and Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (which is still incredible to this day)

LBPK would be a good game if the devs paid more attention to it. The community is dying (once again, I blame marketing) and it's got a bunch of bugs.

Anyway, I was wondering if we ever get to create something in LBP alrogether.
I'd design stuff (probably in Light Matter), you, RR, are skilled in logic… We just need someone who would create it out, someone skilled with Paint, so and some good composer. I spent this morning thinkong of some OST.
Metropolis OST clone - 'Citizen Anthem'
Fast paced , a bit like Umbris OST - 'Qwarktastic' (think of a level with floating mines, turrets and stuff)
Some slow paced for puzzles and that - 'Trespassing'
Some other that would fit platforming levels
Some boss fight epic music - 'Nefarious Tones' (if Nef is boss)
Well, my blank thinking is on te move again…

Oh, I want to compose emoji Never composed anything before, but creating music tracks is the only thing I can really create in LBP emoji

Yes… I suppose. I can't check since my brother is playing Sonic right now.

Remember, it has time.

Yeah, I've got them saved on my moon, but not uploaded. There's not much of these tracks anyway… So, I've got plenty of time now, I'll try to work on this music. I'll send you Metropolis theme as soon as I make it - if it suck, just tell me emoji
