Yeah, I've got them saved on my moon, but not uploaded. There's not much of these tracks anyway… So, I've got plenty of time now, I'll try to work on this music. I'll send you Metropolis theme as soon as I make it - if it suck, just tell me emoji

Okay.
If you get somewhere, bonus points for making it interactive emoji

Well.. just pointing out that i generally spend my PS3 time in LBP, and am also able to create some cool stuff.
I'd say my main strength is creating aesthetic stuff, like environments, effects and lighting.

I know the second image is a bit on the dark side, but it's the start of a horror level, it's night, and there's a thunderstorm, so i guess that's ok.

Also, i am not bad with logic:

(That chip has gone at least 3 times this size by now emoji )

The only problem is, i already can't find time to continue my current projects, so i'm not sure if i can help alot.. emoji

My problem is that I start a level, then I don't play LBP for 3 months and when I finally return I forget where I was going with said level.

I checked my old tracks, tried to create something new… And man, does it suck! I'm sorry I was so quick to hop in and now I hop out as fast, but I'm sure there's someone who could do much better than me. Sorry again.

I can't say I wasn't expecting that a bit (I knew it… huehuahue). We'll find someone. But… Is there something you don't suck at?

And aster, would you be able to create a level if you had it designed in some basic materials first?

Ah, thank you for these kind words emoji And you do know there are a lot of thing I do not suck at… None of them is LBP related though emoji

I can think of levels. I'm just unable to maake them.
I guess you could call me a game director.

I am Aster. I can do everything…in LBP. emoji emoji

Of course i can. I'll be the aesthetics-adder. I haven't done that yet though. I generally create everything of my levels myself.

If you do your job good (That means, if you stick to the Grid, and it works and looks good) i can do that. You gotta know though, that i'm kind of a perfectionist, so if i find something bad in your ground plan i'm gonna have to correct it. Correct.. every.. single.. friggin.. mistake emoji
And honestly, i don't have the time to correct everything emoji
Unless of course i can do it in the next holidays, which are pretty long.

As much as I want to help, I don't know if I can bring myself back into creating?

The only levels I ever made were made on my own, back in like 2011/2012. That's both good and bad. Since then I'd probably be pretty rusty, but on the plus side my experiences with actual programming may have strengthened my logical mind… then again back on the cons, I only ever created independently. I use to having to fill in the roles of every single person, and I don't know how I would function in a group? I mean I probably could, you just might have a hard time trying to manage me.

The thing is, LBP projects take a lot of dedicated time to create. We'd all need to be pretty free on time.

But my main question is this: Is this a re-creation of something else?

Because I've made and scrapped a lot of projects on LBP before, from new takes on bomb survivals, to Crash Bandicoot, to Ratchet & Clank, to original stories. What will we make? Because by the sounds of it we'll have one leader, and a bunch of workers doing what is required of them. If so, how do we decide on the leader? Do we simply put out ideas, and vote on the best one? Because I think that might add a bit of fun to the process emoji

So… a Metroidvania stage?…

No?… 'kay…

You wanna know something funny? I've never played a Metroidvania-styled game before emoji

But I'm very familiar with the concept, and actually really like the idea. To add to variety, I wouldn't mind the idea… but it depends on weather we're creating something original, or a remake of some other game.

I think it would be really cool to see the first level of Super Metroid remade in LBP.

We'd need someone really good with Sackbots to make that work though.

If there is one type of logic I think I can do, it's Sackbots. Basically everything I've ever made revolved around a sackbot.

A good example was my first creation in LBP2. The RatchetBot. I made so much stuff in the level and on the bot, that interacted with one another that by the time I said "I'm done" and zoomed out (for the first time, in ever) I saw that all the wires were either linked up to or passing through the bot and many of his 500 million circuit boards. Of course this was all very messy, and a terrible first creation when I look back at it, but the point is I love me my Sackbots so much I give them logic they don't even need.

I'm rambling again, sorry. But yea, since then I've learned how to make my robots remote controlled, and I even managed to make one that could do the emotion thing Sackboy does AND show the popit! HAH, take that technology!

On the flip-side while Sackbots is a thing I've never really gotten out of in LBP, making a Sackbot, and making a project that revolves around a Sackbot are 2 completely different things. The last time I made a project was a long time ago, and that was solo… so I might not be as useful a creator as the rest of you guys. But I'm still keen for a go… I think?

I don't really like recreating stuff.. partly because.. yeah, i'm a perfectionist. emoji
