Sujet : Childhood Memories

If there are an childhood memories you would like to share here, this is the place…

…yeah, I don't know, I like creating odd threads.

I have one. We have an original Crash Bandicoot: Warped disc at home and we played it often on the PS2.
But it was my mother who is on my mind right now. She was pretty good (I'm saying 'was', she's not playing anymore), but whenever she missed a jump she would try to move the controller in the way where she wanted him to land, just in panic. She sometimes jumped up and moved few steps to the side. Nah, it didn't help.
She did that with some other games too, R&C included, but this CB was the most notable (since it's more platformer).
The more the fun when we found out about the Sixaxis function on the PS3.
Where is a "100%ed Games" thread?

That's actually how my dad used to play Super Mario World funnily enough, I liked watching him play video games when I was going to sleep, it was just so relaxing spending quality time with him playing SNES games late at night.

Anyway, a story of mine… I was beat up defending a girl in 6th grade. Got a kiss in the cheek as a thanks…
I feel cheated…

The first time I ever had a game spoiled for me was when I was 11 and trying to complete R&C3. Some guy at school told me Clank had red eyes because he wasn't Clank, he was an evil clone called Klunk.

Going back even further to the first time we got a PS2, I remember we didn't have a memory card, so every time we played a game it was a marathon. The only game I ever played was Rayman 3, and one day I decided to skip school to play it all day. I got in a lot of trouble, but it was worth it to get as far as I did. I think I got up to looking for the third witch doctor.

Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction was the most surprising and incredible game I ever played. I played it constantly for over a year (early mornings and late nights. Study was a concept I wasn't familiar with). It was also the first game I got 100% in and the HUD was burnt into the TV permanently.

I've never seen any of my parents play games. They hate games.

Those were the days…
