But still, I think it's a bit early for Rebels. I pretty much expect there to be a Last Jedi teaser though. And hopefully a cool panel again, without Carrie Fisher this time. *mournful sigh.
Man, I don't know much about Thrawn, but this was one of his best episodes yet!

Ever thought about reading the Thrawn trilogy? Heir to the Empire is one of my favorite Star Wars novels, it really feels like you're reading one of the original movies. It has a great cast of characters too, including one of my personal faves: Mara Jade.

Now Mara Jade I do know. She was in a lot of comics with luke I had read. They kept mentioning "the admiral" which I assumed is thrawn, but I guess that means he wasn't originally around during the Rebels timeline in the EU.
Nope, after Return of the Jedi. Heir to the Empire was the first appereance for Thrawn and Jade both.
Well, Thrawn was actually a 'Grand Admiral'. So I'm not sure it referred to him. The EU counts a great many admiral characters.
Well, it'll be interesting to see if Thrawn survives Rebels, or if he appears in the new-movie franchise.
Whatever they do: I hope he dies cool and won't be overused. Thrawn in a subtle character.

Believe it or not, it's Genevieve O'Reilly–who plays her in ROTS, Rogue One, and now Rebels!

Rebels has officially been renewed for a season 4! Post Rogue One then?
Perhaps! I just finished watching the Mon Mothma episode–kinda had a New Hope vibe to it, very good episode.
