Even hates I just because of Jar-Jar…and Anakin's mom…and stoopeed Battle Droids.

Episode II is just a bad story with bad characters and bad special effects.

Well, guys I just got to watching the 2D clone wars….and hating it. You were right Darkstar–too much fighting, no talking. There was just no break in the action, making for a poorly scripted movie. Ventress died there, but in 2015, she'll return with Quinlin Vos in an all-new novel called "Dark Disciple."
VI over V and II over I?
Yep. As you can see it's like an upside down order of release. Each time it got a little better, but I still think they're a bit overated. The original 3 have aged, very badly.
Oh yes, I agree. Even re-releasing them on Blu-ray couldn't help! And Heather probably likes II the best because it's a romance movie, whereas Darkstar would hate it. She seems to be a fan of the Old Republic vs the New, I've noticed.
Everything that happens during Epi 4-6 aren't my thing. I also really like Obi-Wan, young Obi-Wan. As Ben Kenobi he looses everything I got to like about him. Neither Luke, Leia or Han are likeable for me. All 3 have a bit of anti hero slipped in there and Han is very stereotype. Maybe back then these character seemed fun and unique, but nowadays they're overdone and outdated. But this is al coming from the person who hadn't seen any Star Wars movies until early 2014.

All the SE really did was add ugly CGI-effects to great scenes. I don't need an outdated looking alien walking on the screen every five seconds… also Han shot first!

Not outdated like that. But the stories, the character, the dialogue… I miss a thick layer of nostalgia to like them. When I first saw the prequels I though they were okay. When I saw the original trilogy I thought it was overrated. This is the ultimate nerd-fandom? I expected a little bit more of it. Then again, I was well into the Star Wars games at this point. The stories in the movies couldn't interest me as much as Knight of the Old Republic or Force Unleashed.
And you're right. I don't like BttF or IJ. Or Lord of the Rings or Matrix or any of the blockbuster movies from that time. Except Alien and Aliens. Those are master pieces in my eyes. 
It's hard to get bent up on nostalgia when 2014 was the most recent you've seen Star Wars films. That's why I like the I, II, III movies better. I'm not even hyped for episode 7!

Same here. Heck, 1313 was mentioned in Clone Wars when Ahsoka left the Jedi order! She fled to level 1312 with Asajj Ventress.
