Sujet : Naughty Dog vs. Insomniac Games

Well R&C1 has to be one of my favorite games. Although Jak and Daxter: TPL is indeed a very nice game that I admire quite a lot, I have to trow a vote at Ratchet & Clank, for simply being the best!

I could go really in-depth about this, like I am sure Kubak will, but I am not going to, because I can't be bothered. The main thing is that I voted.

Oh and nightwingratchet, try to avoid quoting people's posts when they contain images or massive portions of text, it can be kind of messy.

What!? My least favorite Jak game, and one of my favorite Ratchet & Clank games are now battling each other, and Jak is winning?

And for the first time I am going with IG. I really loved UYA and I feel that Jak 3 is filled to the brim with Unexpected Schmup.

Ratchet 3, obvs. Which might not be fair because I've never played Jak 3… but I'm sure it wouldn't have made a difference anyway.

Sigh… I find both of these games to be worse than their precedessors, but if I have to choose… It's Jak 3. Sorry UYA, but good writing was not enough to save you.

It's not that he hates it, but I agree that GC was a better RaC game in every respect except storyline (really, GC's storyline was TERRIBLE compared to UYA's)
UYA is still a great game, but not the best IMO.

I don't think it's bad (not that bad at least and I certainly don't hate it), but… It's GC, just worse. I admit - the writing, the acting and the character animation are amazing, but other than that… The gameplay is made in 90% of the repetetive shooting sections (that just aren't that fun to play), the non-shooting parts are nothing special either (the hacker, Qwark Vid-Comics), the soundtrack's nice, but still not as good as the first one and GC, the level design is pretty uninteresting, the visuals are a step back… How did it become such a phenomenon among the fans is beyond me.
