Hey guys, remember these?
Of course! Who could forget our first peek of the game?

More like "the time we found a stolen secret information"
It looks like those ones were pre-rendered as well, judging by the eyebrow shapes and the lighting on Ratchet's fur.
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
Oh yeah, I remember putting that image in a highlights video i did for a let's play channel. I was praying nothing bad would happen
Just a reminder that the RaC Official Strategy Guide comes out today! Who will be the first to witness 112 pages of RaC lore?

Oh, they better release it on my country! I'm surely gonna look for this book on major book stores.

Why does Ratchet & Clank need a strategy guide? I mean, I have never seen a strategy guide before, but if they offer tips, tricks, cheats and walkthrough-type-things then (firstly that isn't enough to fill a whole book and) why is that needed for a game like Ratchet & Clank (PS4) which is impossible to get stuck in, unless you are having trouble with a shooting section, which is understandable… but you can't really be walked through Ratchet & Clank jumping and shooting strategies.
So I am going to assume it is full of information to do with the game's setting, story and characters as well. This stuff all makes sense, but the first game still did it better, so I would rather that the book be full of stuff about the original first game instead.
EDIT: Why do they even elaborate on R&C story and setting stuff in a separate book? They should brink back in-game things like this such as the Monsterpedia from the second game. Combine the Monsterpedia with heaps of little one-off secret enemies, and then I'll feel better about the current Ratchet & Clank setting.

You are right. It is not just a simple guide, as it also includes back info and the whole setting including the characters and the locations. It even has the alphabet used both in movie and the game. But it also includes guides on how to obtain certain things raritanium and gold bolts.

If I'm not mistaken, most R&C games have a guide. I have one for Up Your Arsenal. They come with detailed text walkthrough from beginning to end. Description for skill points, Bolt locations etc. As well as character and other lore background. Although I think most people buy them for bookcase filling. I know I do.
There was one for RaC 1, GC, UYA, and a HUGE one for TOD. This one has 112 pages, so it's definitely a biggie

So far I count 8 over all Ratchet and Clank strategy guides, Ratchet and Clank 1, Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal, Deadlocked (which came with a behind the scenes/walkthrough DVD), Future: Tools of Destruction, Future: A Crack in Time, All 4 One, and the latest one for the PS4 game.

I Finally got my blu ray copy of the ratchet and clank movie
http://en.ratchet-galaxy.com/news-985.php A new (and probably last) news post about the Blu-ray and Guide Book!

So…what's all this talk about the Ps4 Pro? It sounds like Insomniac might be doing a patch to integrate it in RaC.
