Sujet : Ratchet Galaxy Dying?

I don't mean to sound rude, but I've been noticing Ratchet Galaxy really isn't flourishing as well as it used to and it's not very active anymore. Being this is one of my favorite Ratchet and Clank fansites, I'm pretty disappointed by the lack of activity, because some fansites that become less active are forgotten easily, i.e. Dr. Smog's Ratchet Compendium. I was thinking that maybe the administraters can put together some contests, such as "the best fan-fiction", the best "fan-art", "biggest Ratchet & Clank collection", etc, to help keep the site healthy and alive

If you compare the activity of the site from now to a few months back or even a year, it's really not averaging out as well. Ratchet Galaxy used to be bawling with new threads, conversations, and things to discuss everyday, now it's really decreasing. As I said, the main problem right now is probably the site's activity.

The site won't die until the French site gets really down. If you go there there's a new post every minute.

I like the contest idea, and I was thinking along those lines myself. But the thing is, we'd need lots of people participating to start with, and we don't exactly have a way of rewarding the people who would enter/win…

I completley agree! Although, it has changed a lot since I first joined.
I joined back before about a month before ACiT was released, back then there were only about 7 active members, these days there are a lot of members and I tend to get confused. But despite the fact there's a lot more active members, forum posts seem to be made a lot less frequently…

Actually during this year there has been a lot more people here than before the release of A4O.
Back then there could be several days without anyone posting, which is far worse than what it is nowadays. At least all the five latest posts are less than a day old now.

Probably there will be an increase in people posting after the release of FFA, and when the next full-size game is announced.

So yes It was dying about this time last year. Not now though… I swear we get to a near death state every year.

Maybe if they release a really big Ratchet game at some point soon we'll see some more consistent activity.

Whilst I agree that in recent weeks the site has been a lot less active (half the reason we started the quote game was to boost activity on the site), it has had a massive boom of activity within the last 48 hours or so (numeric accurate at time of posting). This may be because "Into the Nexus" is approaching and more people are wanting to talk about Ratchet and Clank, or it may simply be random coincidence. Either way, the English-language part of this site is safe for now.

It never lasts though. We seem to have these surges, people come and people go.

I would like to think that we could see less of the going though I do wonder though what would happen to our wonderful community if Insomniac stopped making R&C games… we'd be like the MediEvil community
