It means your posts are between 1-999.
The Insomniac moon I have is between 1000-9999
A target star will between 10000 and…infinity?

The bolts/moons/crosshairs above your avatar are basically an indicator of your experience level on the forum. The more posts you have, the higher your level.
Here are the levels that I know about:
1 bolt: 0-50 posts
2 bolts: 51-100 posts
3 bolts: 101-200 posts
4 bolts: 201-500 posts
5 bolts: 501-1000 posts
1 moon: 1001-2000 posts
2 moons: 2001-3000 posts
3 moons: 3001-4000 posts
4 moons: 4001-5000 posts
5 moons: 5001-10000 posts
1 crosshair: 10001-20000 posts
2 crosshairs: 20001-30000 posts
3 crosshairs: 30001-40000 posts
4 crosshairs: 40001-50000 posts
5 crosshairs: 50001+ posts.
There might be more, but I haven't seen anyone get more than 50000 posts yet. (or even close to 50000)

Hello Ratchet and Clank fans, it's a pleasure to meet you all! My name's Giulia and I'm 17 years old. It's been a while since I joined Ratchet Galaxy, but I've never participated in the forum, so I introduce myself now I know the Ratchet and Clank series since I was 8 years old and I remember that my first game was Going Commando on PS2, it was love at first sight and then I played all the others, because I really liked the story, the characters, everything of it! But, unfortunately, I couldn't buy a PS3 and that's why I couldn't play the Future series games. But I kept following the series during these years and now I can't wait for the film!

Did you ever end up getting a PS3? Because they should be a fair bit cheaper now that the PS4 is out… and there will be a PS4 Ratchet & Clank game, so you'll have that to worry about.
