I finished Sly 3. And it was pretty good. I guess it was a fitting end to the PS2 Trilogy, and now I can see the completely direct link this game has with Thieves in Time.
I don't think I will buy Thieves in Time though.
Well TiT's got it's strong and weak points.
The good:
- the game's fun
- hub worlds are nicely designed
- return of collectibles (bootles, tresures)
- you mostly play as Sly and his ancestors (who usually play pretty much like Sly)
- some comstumes and antestors' special abilities can add to the gameplay
- the cartoonish artstyle is great
- return of the original voice cast (well, one character got a new voice, you can guess who)
- the soundtrack IT KICKS ASS!
The bad:
- the game's really, really easy and there's no challenge mode
- the story is forced
- a 'shocking' plot twist in the fourth episode I know I already said about a forced story, but this annoys me so much I had to give it a seperate point
- if not Sonic Boom, I'd say it's the worst written game in it's genere in past few years (food jokes make half of the game's humour)
- there's not much new stuff (just "bigger, better, next-gen"
- the loading times
