Here's a thread for you to discuss your opinions on the Kingdom Hearts series.
I wasn't really an RPG fan until a friend of mine let me borrow the game Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memorys for the GBA. That game made me a KH fan and even an RPG fan.
I only own Kingdom Hearts; Kingdom Hearts 2; Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memorys and the original Chain of Memorys.
If you haven't tried Kingdom Hearts I recommend you pick it up. It's beutiful and action packed. Perfect to any gamer.
I haven't heard really much about the series.. What is it about anyway?
The main character is Sora, he was choosen by the keyblade to defeat the hearthless: Shadows stealing hearts from people he's followed by the the magician Donald and the knight Goofy that are searching for their king Mickey. In the game you'll visit various locals from Disney movies like Wonderland and Neverland. There are also Final Fantasy characters as well. I can't tell much of the story since it is so good.
Got my hands on the latest installement in the series, Dream Drop Distance. IT IS AWESOME. Plan on getting the DS ones now that I have a 3DS.

Not really chosen. He just sort of happens to get one.
*SPOILERS AND SUCH*
Riku's subconsicous gives it to Sora when Destiny Islands is being destroyed so Sora could protect himself. When Riku takes Kingdom Key from Sora in Hollow Bastion he wasn't stealing it, he was just claiming back what was his to begin with. But Kingdom Key ultimately chooses Sora over Riku anyway. Kingdom Key isn't Sora's Keyblade until he fights Riku in Hollow Bastion for the first time. Riku, of course, manages to get another one sometime during KH2.
