Sujet : Rareware's fate for Insomniac?

This is just a theory and I'm not supporing it myself, but I thought it would be fun to discuss

You all know the story behind Rareware. A companie that worked for Nintendo an developed games like StarFox Adventures, DK Country, Perfect Dark, Banjo and Conker. Nintendo sold them to Microsoft and they launched some remakes, a bad Banjo sequel and some crappy Kinect game. The big companie that we all loved doesn't excist anymore.

I saw that Fuse is also gonna launch on XBox 360. Now lets discuss a little theorie I came up with while walking to my bus. What if Microsoft will buy Insomniac? What if they will make a Resistence remake, a bad Ratchet seuqel and some shitty Kinect games?

First of all, if Microsoft will buy Insomniac Games they will not make a Ratchet or Resistance game anymore, since Microsoft will not allow them to support concurention (SONY, since Ratchet and Resistance are SONY's exclusives). Second, I don't think that will happen - Insomniac just "freed" themselfs from SONY. Why in the world would they just go to another "opressor"? And even if, they would make another (not terrible, just another) FPS, since this is their genere last years (except for Ratchet, it's third person shooter, poor not platformer anymore ). It's my opinion.

Banjo and Conker alse were Nintendo exclusives. But you can still find both on Xbox or Xbox 360. Perfect Dark too btw.

But I'm not gonna support this theory, its probably all wrong and I can really imagine Insomniac willing to work for Microsoft.

Fortunately, Sony owns R&C and Resistance. Much as Microsoft own Halo, Nintendo own Mario etc.
I also recall seeing that Insomniac were working with EA games on Fuse, as they have experience on other platforms.
Since IG has worked on PS for all it's life and all PS incarnations they build really solid games. I mean non-glitchy games that can come from trying to build multiplatform games. Hopefully they'll never forget or quit the PS community, but equally lets have some really, really cracking games come out.

Insomniac are working with EA partners, not games. with EA partners Insomniac can make whatever they like and throw it onto two different consoles. And they have said they will make booth versions just as good as each other, but that doesn't mean they are finished with Sony, because they made FFA not long ago, and if they want to make another Ratchet game it will be with Sony again. Microsoft will not buy Insomniac because Insomniac are working with EA partners not Microsoft directly. And Insomniac went to EA so they could be more independent, not less independent. They will probably stick with EA for a long time, and when they are done with Ratchet & Clank I think they will be done making Sony exclusives.
