From the direction it seems to be going with it's art style, I'd be surprised if it didn't have anything to do with Ratchet, Clank and Qwark going into the real world, finding a guy that's trying to get along with a girl, they stay in his apartment because they're too strange to be seen by humans, finding out that Nefarious also made his way into the real world and is trying to turn all life forms into robots, the girl finds out about Ratchet, Clank and Qwark and finally they tag along for a final battle with Nefarious so that they return to Polaris and the guy gets a kiss.
DAWMIT IM LATE 
Remember that in games you need to watch your poly count carefully. Thats why in-game ears often have these sharp edges and in cutscenes they look round. Same thing here. This is a movie, so it can look better than a video game.
Also, this 'real world' concept wouldn't be a plus for me. I prefer a classic Ratchet story which you watch instead of play. I mean, they showed Metropolis after all. And the Ratchet universe isn't really like a game, more like its own existence. So not a Wreck it Ralp, Sonic X kinda thing.
Totally agreed with the Last Starfox fan on that Ratchet & Clank has created its own excistince. The Ratchet and Clank universe has become sort of an excisting universe (to me that is) and when i am busy with R&C, the world is completely off for me.
Don' worry about "Alvin" or "Smurfs" plot type - TJ Fixman is writing for this So it's gonna be AT LEAST as good as the games were. I can't wait for this. I just hope they'll play it in Polish cinemas too. An one more thing:

I would be more worried about the actors, I don't see the dubbing teams getting the voice actors from the different versions of the games (which might be a good thing for some).

It's just announcement trailer. I think they'll dub the trailers near the premiere.

You didn't read the whole theard, they were deleted from there (probably when people saw them). But presence of the List's logo in R&C movie site is enough for me to think rumour about other films is real.

I don't trust that yet. I'd like to hear from the actual companies. I woudn't have believed the Ratchet movie if I hadn't checked if it were April 1st and saw it was confirmed by Insomniac themselves. And then… I saw the trailer. I was gasping on the floor. xD

Yeah, when I saw "Ratchet & Clank movie trailer" I was stunned. For the first time in… well not very, but still a bit long time I was happy like a kid on christmas. I though Penguins of Madagascar will be the best animated movie of 2015… How silly was I
