Sorry, as much as I hate to say it, R&C grew up from Bergeaud's techno. Wich doesn't mean it's not awesome.

The Salchow's music was just much more fitting for ACiT, wich had the most 'serious' tone of all the games. I really like the direction R&C soundtracks took with that one. And that's why I hate FFA's OST. Mediocre imitation of Bergeaud's style 
I know it's unfair, but from the bits of soundtrack that I heard from FFA, I still prefer Bergeaud. Starship Phoenix II's theme was just…not good. The main theme was alright, but I'm hoping for more than just one good BGM for Nexus. Here's to hoping.

FFA was indeed not the best soundtrack, worse than most of Bergeaud's work. But you should really listen to A4O - it's a masterpiece
