Do what I do, I only have a front light and I go on the footpath the whole way home, today i went past 3 cops and none of em stopped me.
Back in highschool there were 3 possible roads to take to my school. I always took the least unlikely one where there were no cops. Even though I always put my lights on, I was drilled by my parents to do that.

In the morning it used to be really dark for me. Though that was nothing compared to nowadays, the way to and back both pitch black. Luckely its the bus driver that needs to mind the lights now
