Though I wonder why they changed it… but what the hey, the fact that I can't keep myself from smiley when I remember Hillis is voicing one of my favorite R&C characters can't be a bad sign.

Its a bad economy, when voice actors get a job, they'll take it. They'll take anything nowadays. I assume she was already working on it or Insomniac choose Hillis because of her great work in Fuse.
Yeah, the most likely reasons that Tara Strong isn't returning are either she was too busy with other projects, or Insomniac didn't have the budget to bring her back…

Might also have been a reason. Though I'm not sure if the actors are the most expensive, but they sure aren't the most important thing when creating a video game.

Is there anyone here that minds that Hillis took over? Cause actually I'm kinda happy that my 3rd favorite voice in the world will be part of the new Ratchet!
I don't mind as such; I was a little disappointed at first, especially given that, at the time, I'd never even heard of Hillis. But I've since heard some of her work - whilst I'm still a little disappointed that Tara Strong isn't going to be voicing Talwyn, I'm looking forward to seeing hearing how Hillis manages the role.
I don't mind, either. I couldn't even tell the difference when I heard Tawlyn's voice in the demos. I will miss Tara Strong because she's one of my favorite VAs, but it's no big deal.
Tara Strong was good, but maybe it's gonna be evn better now!
Better? Not sure since its still a different voice. I think it will be even just because Hillis is one of my faves.
