Yeah, Maya. We even have a student named Maya (ironically).

I got Maya 2016 a few days ago… I'm probably going to stick with 2015 for now though.

What the? emoji You watch that show, Filip?

The original version is an animated classic in these parts.

I used to watch the old cartoons emoji

We use Maya 2014 because it's compatible with some of the AnimTools that AM customizes.

Oh, okay. What year was it?

I think it was from the 70s.

2014 is actually still my favorite. But we use 2015 at work.

Maya (TV series) was awesome. I had a couple of the 2D episodes on VHS as a kid. I remember bits and pieces.

Edited and improved! I'm wondering if it would be possible to send you the mov file of quicktime playblasts I did in Maya…

I remember watching one or two episodes as a kid and thinking it was really boring, I was more into more action oriented cartoons like Dragon Ball or Pokémon.
Was it any good, though? I assume so since some people here seem to like it, but I'm not really sure.

I wasn't really a fan of it either, but it still remains as one of the most nostalgic kids shows here (mostly among our parents), so it's hard not to know who Maya is when you're Polish. Funny thing is, 99% of people in Poland think it's a Polish show, 1% think it's Czech, while actually it's a Japaneese animation based on a German book emoji The hand drawn one of course.

Speaking of CGI remakes of classic shows, anyone here who watched Inspector Gadget?

How about a "Secret of NIHM" CGI/life action remake à la "Alvin and the Chipmunks"? And apparently Sonic as well…

Imagine if they tried to make Sly Cooper a bit more realistic…
