I would probably be one of the first to die if we as the world lost our electricity. I use either the oven, stove, or microwave every day.
I wouldn't die so soon. A Gameboy and about 40 batteries would do the trick.
I imagine I'd die pretty quickly if electricity just vanished all of a sudden.
I never use my phone, but it died. The mic did at least. I gathered all of my courage to call for an internship. So I'm doing my story and:

Don't have one at school. I have to call them mo-th during the day. Guess I'm gonna have to send my phone back again. They just got me a new mic… Wonder what my phones problem is.

I have never ever been to a school without a landline… and I've been to a wide variety of schools. They'll have one, you just gotta ask to use it. (At least that would make the most sense)
Well… its not really a school. It more like a little buiness thingy. There's a reception, but I'm not gonna ask them for their precious phone. Though a friend of mine just gave me her old Black Berry, so all well it ends well.
