It's a shame that game wasn't well received. It's actually my favorite next-gen exclusive so far. And I honestly can't see what's wrong with it. It runs fine for one, the gameplay is challenging, the story keeps you interested, the character are great. It felt like playing a Pixar movie, even more than playing Ratchet & Clank honestly. I mean, just look at that awesome artstyle!
I guess the popularity for platforming games dropped because those were the majority of games when the consoles started appearing. Now the generation playing those games is dropping consoles and another generation is taking their place, with different preferences. It's not as bad as it seems though. Lot of my friends are familiar with Crash games, some of them with Ratchet, too (only minus being the fact that this friend in particular though Ratchet was for that old… Nintendo?)
I guess Crash is more popular here than Ratchet, since I've seen some people saying that Crash Bandicoot series are legendary. Can't argue about that.

I wanted to say that Ratchet's quality is sliiightly dropping recently, but then agaim it can't compare to the downfall of post-ND Crash.
Just saw the "Minions" movie today, here's my non-spoiler review of it:
The Good: The minions are adorable, funny, and cute as ever! The director of the movie is actually the voice of them all! No need for polish dubs here 
Every 2ndary character is excellent in his or her own personality. The whole movie takes place in the 70s, so expect lots of Hippies and Beatles references.
The Bad: Well…as expected, there's a lot of potty humor, so you just have let it slide. Unlike inside out, there really isn't any emotional connection with the characters, and the timing can be off every now and then.
Expect to see Dr. Nefario in Villian Con

This movie should definitely be watched in 3D, in fact, the after credits scene (which I was the only one to stay for) is the longest, funniest after credits scene of any movie EVER!
Even though this movie wasn't as good as Despicable Me 1 or 2, it still stays true to the franchise. 8/10.
I already watched Minions, and I gotta say it's really good. I guess I'll give it 9/10. And I spotted Nefario, too!
