I'm back emoji I was on a trip to Scotland, we also spent a day and a half in Netherverse Netherlands. I really liked Amsterdam, but nothing could prepare me for what I've found in Hague - during our free time I stumbled upon an inconspicuous "Gameshop". I entered it and "sweet eye of a Zoni"! They had literaly everything! Games for PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Gamecube, posters, guides, these Ratchet & Clank mascots… Accessories for the 90s consoles! And then I found (and bought) this:

Heather, you live in a freakin' paradise!

There actually a lot of those kinds of stores in The Netherlands. Most of the people who own them are (ex-)collectors themselves and like selling it. Did you find the 'Movie Store' in Hague too? They sell tons of movie & gaming merchandise!

My dad finally decided to take out the huge computer modum thingy out of my room after 7 years. So I got loads of new space for my games. And I can also use the computer's LCD-screen to make my PS2 games look pretty again. Lookin' good so faremoji

I haven't visited it. I only had 45 minutes and I spent all that time in Gameshop emoji I'm angry at myself that I didn't exchange my pounds earlier… Could've got that Dark Eco Jak statue as well…

A friend of mine actually picked it up there for me. €10… must be like 7 Pounds? Pretty nice that you actually paid less for all those items cause Pounds are more valuable. emoji

Wait! 10 euros!? They were selling that Jak for 40!

We're talking about this one, right?

Cause I hear people pick these up for €10. Never seen one go for €40, so you might have been saved there.

It looks so emoji Overall prices in this shop were pretty high… especially after I've seen Fuse for five pounds.

Yeah… some stores really want waaay to much for certain items. But thats the fun, you oughta find the stores with decend prices. Next time you go to Holland, tell me. I could give you the adresses and names for a few great spots!

Thanks! If ever visit Holland again, I will surely ask you about those game stores. And since Amsterdam is such a nice city, I think I might visit it again emoji

Next year I'm in Amsterdam 5 days a week. Maybe I'll meet you thereemoji

I'm not sure if I come there in a near future, but who knows what further future holds emoji

Whoever of you gets some statue with Daxter, I'd be willing to pay (in crowns, of course emoji )

Cause Amsterdam has a really nice retro game store near the Central Station too. Oh, and a store that sells gaming merchandise. I've been there only twice, but next year I think I'm gonna do weekly rounds or something during my breaks. emoji

Man, I wish there were so many game stores in Poland… Not that there aren't any, it's just that not much of them remembers the 90s - back then, when the world was playing Mario on SNES we were playing Mario on Pegasus - our own NES copy.

This makes me want to buy a pair of bowling shoes and then cut my feet off so I can't use them.
