They're so cuuuute! I've seen them a few times in the zoo, funny little guys. But their habitat makes me claustrophobic.

But, Markazia is in Polaris, while the movie takes place in Solana. That's just too far, unless she is quite like Ratchet, sent to Solana for safety reasons.

Oh really, then explain how did Tharpods and Fongoids get there. Were those green little creatures from QfB's caves "sent to Solana for safety reasons" as well? They're just using as many assets from the existing games as possible and making the designs from PS3 games look good in the movie didn't require nearly as much work as with the ones from the PS2 days. And so, they're using them, there's not much more to it. It's a new canon, why can't they make all the creatures of Polaris live in Solana now? I wouldn't be suprised if we got to see some Terachnoids or Fongoids in the movie as well. It's not like they gave Ratchet parents or a (completely unnecessary in the duo's origins story) love inte… Oh… *censored*

Just checking the Cannes movies of this year… I can't see the RaC movie anywhere.

It wasn't on the main festival, those were screenings just for interested distributors. You know, they still have to close deals in some countries…

I'm totally okay with Ratchet having a love interest in a form of Sasha, Talwyn, Cora, or whoever they come up with. But not in this story! This is a movie about the origins of RATCHET & CLANK'S relationship - a love interest for one them is just going to a third weel. That, and I really want Clank to finally play an important role again…

I'm pretty bummed that Clank hasn't had a single line in this movie yet–not even in the screenshots we've seen! It's just been Ratchet talking, and Clank standing there all cool and stuff. Even in the most recent one!
TJ fixman keeps saying he likes writing for Qwark, who's had more lines than Ratchet even! I doubt Clank's role is small, but it seems that this movie is "Ratchet and Friends" rather than Ratchet and Clank.

I imagine that Clank isn't exactly a fun character to write (there are only so many jokes you can do with him) and I'm pretty sure the reason he had such a big role in ToD and ACiT was because of the lore and everything around him, not because of the character itself.
