Speaking of which. Has anyone seen the first 2 posters? The blue night one and the orange 'slingshot or laserbeam' one? Or did they just remove them for their current campaign?

I get the feeling Insomniac would be the wrong people to go to on this. I'm sure they don't have anything to do with the marketing of this movie.
They've done 50 billion trailers already. ButcI guess a launch trailer could hit in the next week or two.

No, the movie has a teaser that contains no movie footage, two trailers, and two very short, very non-informative TV spots.
Compared to the treatment other animated movies get, Ratchet and Clank really doesn't seem to get as much promotion.
As far as I know, 3 trailers (the big ones) is the standard. The last trailer usually being the one that releases under the name of 'launch trailer'. Likely shortened to a TV spot later.
I wouldn't worry about it. Since Rainmaker is working on various other projects, I'm sure they have faith in their movies. While R&C may not have the same AAA support as Disney, Dreamworks or Pixar movies, it should attract the same crowd.

Also, I can't help but feel that the 2014 trailer shouldn't really "count" as far as "three big trailers" go. Ignoring the fact that it was really short, like teaser length, that thing was shown at E3 over a year before the first theatrical trailer. It may still count as one of this movie's big trailers, but my gut just says it shouldn't.
Yeah, well the moment youtube starts spamming RaC trailers and TV spots, you guys will be like: "oh no! too many trailers."
I am quite content with the amount of publicity for the movie/game
