Sujet : Similarities in the Ratchet and Clank Universe

You were never a sidekick, you know that right?

I always thought YOU were the sidekick

Could be a reference or maybe simply a coincidence but reminds me of how Daxter always thought Jak was the sidekick

Maybe because clank was able to Kick Ratchet on his Side? how about that?

Speaking of that Minion and Drophyd comparison, I was thinking the film Megamind itself had elements that felt like R&C in some areas.

Both Megamind and Metro Man are like Dr.Nefarious and Captain Qwark in some ways. Quite similar body features and a bit of their personalities seems to make them quite identical.

Metro Man and Captain Qwark are both muscular, have big chins with at least some kind of show off personalities.

Both Dr.Nefarious and Megamind have a thin anatomy structure with big noggins. If Dr.Nefarious was like his old concept design (with the cape on) as his final design in Ratchet and Clank, Megamind would be definitely look pretty identical to Nefarious in appearance. Of course the only difference would be that one character is a human while the other is a robot.

Although, I heard that Megamind has a lot of content that feels like familiar territory already.

Is it just me or does Sasha reminds you of Krystal from Star Fox in some way? While playing the single experience of Up Your Arsenal, I kept thinking that I was in some kind of Star Fox game whenever I saw Sasha in the cutscenes.

I think the only difference is that Sasha doesn't expose her furry body compared to Krystal. Krystal is just a walking FURRIES ALERT DEATH BOMB! Literally!

…Or anything else that involves super heroes, villains and saving the world. I think Super Man is another example that Megamind ripped off.

Well I haven't seen Megamind, so I didn't know that he was an alien until you have mention it.

I seriously don't know if I could do this kind of comparison but both Vorn and Artemis Zogg from the R&C comic books kind of reminds me of Dr. Robotnik and his wormy sidekick, Snively from Sonic the Hedgehog (the SATAM cartoon).

LOL! You're so right about Zogg and Vorn being like Robotnik and Snively XD! They really do seem quite alike there!

And as for Sasha and Krystal… wow, yeah their faces really are quite similar, only that Krystal is "furry fandom bait" while Sasha is a lot less of that XD but yeah the faces are similar, heh.

I'm glad Sasha isn't Furry Bait or else my eyes would go utterly blind. Not literally, of course.

Other than the face structure, both characters even have a crown headband around their foreheads, which was another reason why I thought Sasha and Krystal looked quite similar in some places.

Here's another comparison I found. The Skyboarder from Size Matters reminded me of a character I've seen before… oh yeah, Wildcat from Disney's Talespin.

Both characters are lions (or at least have lion features), wears a ponytail, have skinny body structures and they even have long chin structures.

I was wacthing an amine called 'Flint The Time Detective' which I havn't seen since high school years and in the episode called 'The Rescue' it explians why the Dark Lord wanted to attack the land of time because of 'The Great Clock'

When I first spotted the Novalis Cairman from the first Ratchet game, I thought to myself that he looked like Squidward from Spongebob Squarepants crossbreed with Ned Flanders from the Simpsons. He quite has the same head shape and skin tone as Squidward and sort of the same kind of mustache as Ned Flanders does.
