I hate Japanese and mostly they have stupid voice overs, mostly because almost everyone sound the same over there
I'd say a lot of that has to with the fact that you aren't familiar with the language. I'd guess that a lot of people unfamiliar with English would say that everyone that speaks English sounds very similar.

My first language is Dutch, but I still hate the way it sounds.
