It's like saying Ratchet & Clank games are made by SONY. Disney owns PIXAR, eventually give them their opinion and that's it. Disney movies are Disney movies, PIXAR movies are PIXAR movies… owned by Disney.

Well, countless of people never acknowledged that Sonic Team made Sonic games instead of SEGA.

Yes, they are not made by SEGA, just like PIXAR movies are not made by Disney.

I never said Disney made UP, but they own the movie. When I say "Disney animated movies" I'm implying that Disney owns the movie. Just like how I can say that Ratchet and Clank is one of SONY's best franchises. I'm not saying SONY made R&C, but they certainly own it.

Ok, then tell me that - "all Star Wars movies are Disney movies". Disney bought them after all…

The difference is that Disney didn't own Episode I-VI until fairly recently, so they're not technically a Disney product. Just like how Crash 1-3 are not Activision products.

Then why do you call movies made by PIXAR a Disney movies? The only difference is that Disney owned them from the beggining and had a small invvolvement in their reation (not big enough to put their logo before PIXAR'S). And what about all new Marvel movies and comic books - are they Disney as well?

Yep. And that has caused a ton of backlash.

Ok, let's end that discussion - all PIXAR movie's are (ugh, I can't say that) "Disney movies", since Disney owns them, but they are not movies made by Disney. Finished.

Isn't it lovely how this conversation wasn't off-topic?

It is indeed emoji

Pixar is Pixar, Disney is Disney… Haha emoji I'm sorry emoji

Oh, whatever. Obviously Disney gets a lot of credit for Pixar's work, but its what happens. Tomb Raider developed by Crystal Dynamis and Square Enix is mostly credited, for they own Eidos and their logo is slapped on the box. Same thing counts for a lot of things. Let it slide emoji

I even didn't know that TR was developed by Crystal Dynamis emoji

The new one wasn't, the PS1 titles (and the PS2 ones I guess) were.

Oh okay, but I never played a Tomb Raider…

If you want to play one, either pick up '13 or Anniversary.
