That seems like a pretty reasonable rating to me. I'm glad you know this stuff though, I never would if you wouldn't have told me. And no that wasn't sarcasm, just to be clear.

PG is the rating R&C games should always get. Any changes in this pattern are an indication that the game/movie will all of a sudden be too childish for adults, or too mature for kids.
And, yes, there are exceptions in which a game/movie can get G (appropriate for absolutely all ages) and still be pretty good. Like the PS3 Rayman games, and LittleBigPlanet.
But ultimately, I only reall judge movies and games on how much I enjoy them, regardless of the ratings. Sometimes the target market is not representative of the user base at all.

Nope, PG works just well. Anyway, cinemas around here just have the "everyone" rating, then 12+ and finally 15+. So, given it's an animated film, I think that it'll just get the "everyone" rating.

G - suitable for general audiences
PG - parental guidance recommended for younger viewers
M - suitable for mature audiences 16 year and over
R13 - restricted to persons 13 years and over (legal restriction)
R16 - restricted to persons 16 years and over (legal restriction)
R18 - restricted to persons 16 years and over (legal restriction)
This system applies to movies and games the same way down here. So as you can tell, down here an M rating is pretty tame. There may be some name calling and generally violent behavior, like what you'd get in Uncharted.

I think it's going to be one of the posters. Most movie novelizations don't have a unique cover.
