We've already had that one but now that you mention it, the Mini turret from UYA that could teleport and pretty much kill everything in a level for you.
Hoverboot races or Hoverbike races?
Hoverbike races. I never found the Hoverboot races that fun. But maybe that is just because they were unfinished.

Chronosepter was very cool on the repairing effects it has and the time slow ability, but the Wrench is more iconic and useful so i'd say the wrench.
