Thread: Ape Escape

Hello I was just wondering if anyone ever played Ape Escape, but mainly if they've played "Ape Escape: Pumped & Primed"
I know it's just a spinoff but I think it's my favorite. Ape Escape has also made an Anime, for those who don't know- and I am NOT reffering to the disguisting Fredorator rip- off. My favorite Character is Pipotron Blue. Slightly relating to the topic- in the european version there is a code for a special Ratchet monkey! He looks like older Ratchet, not the future type, and wears a clank with the jet mod and clank wears a monkey helmet! The anime is named "Saru Getchu: On Air!" which is Ape escape: on air! in english. New characters are in this anime that did not make it into the american games- like Pipotron J and his group. Pipotron Red, Yellow, and Blue appear in the 2nd sereis. I hope some people still like this series, because I love it almost as mucha as R&C. Here's a link to my favorite episode: WARNING! I've never really gotten into this series but I do remember it being popular when I was a kid, especially back in the Playstation days

Ah, I do know Ape Escape. I'm not really a fan, but I had one of the games and it's alot of fun to play. I don't know where that game went off to. I'm thinkin' about getting the upcoming Ape Escape game for the Playstation 3.

aaaahhhh I love that game I never got the second one mind you but I did get the third one and the remake of the first one on the PSP as well I got the very first one

I tried playing mine on my PS3 but it won't let me it let me as far as skip the intro with the start button but it won't let me start a new game on it TT_TT

there is no english version… series 1 is subbed everywhere but not series 2. the only english i can find is the unrelative, heartbreaking, antipipotron, nickelodeon rip off… which made my eyues bleed acid. sorry.

Are you serious? Ape Escape is like one of my most FAVORITE games of all time!! It's brilliant

My fave game of the series is definitely Ape Escape 3, I love Satoru and Sayaka ^^ and the music is awesome!!

I preferred the PS2 versions of the games

Oh and you can also unlock a RATCHET monkey in the game [JAPANESE AND EUROPE VERSIONS ONLY sorry America!] it's in the green room in the last stage once you enter this password on the title screen:

He will appear when you shoot the panel 5 I think it is and he is carrying a RYNO and dressed in outfit from RaC 1

It's awesome how Ape Escape includes something to do with Ratchet and Clank :P
