I would love it if R&C went for a more adult audience - people in their 20s and upwards. The 'fun for all the family' image and the tongue in cheek jokes that younger people wouldn't understand I think are great, but it could do a lot more.
I'm sure the series does attract some of the older crowd in the gaming community. I'm almost 24 and I still appreciate the franchise today. But I can see what you're getting at since the majourity age group that likes R&C are most likely under 20 years old. Which overall, it's quite hard to find older gamers that are open minded to play a platforming adventure series like Ratchet and Clank.
